Fancy some sun and savoir-vivre in the Vaucluse? Then this pleasant, family-friendly holiday home with pool in a rural location is certainly the right starting point for you! With a living space of 170 m², the house in Orange offers enough space for up to 15 people, who can look forward to large and very cosy rooms. Before you conjure up a delicious barbecue for your loved ones in the evening, you can spend many sunny hours together in the garden or by the wonderful private pool. The location is perfect for making the most of Orange and Avignon, two of the most beautiful cities in the Vaucluse. The centre of Orange is 3.5 km away. There you will find an impressive amphitheatre dating back to Roman times, which provides the perfect setting for the popular annual classical music festival, Les Chorégies. You can also discover its three-arched Roman monumental gate and a museum of art and history. Avignon, 23 kilometres away, boasts a majestic former papal palace and the famous Saint-Bénézet bridge. Stroll through the market hall, the Rue des Teinturiers and the public garden on the Rocher des Doms promontory. Every year in July, the world-famous Avignon Festival takes place. During this theatre, dance and song festival, the city comes to life even more when performances take place in courtyards and on the streets. performances take place. The front door was broken so we could not lock it, which according to the neighbor was 'the only' issue of the house (he was the only contact we were provided with, and did the check in with us). The fridge handle was broken and had a cork as replacement the freezer was broken door was broken too so we had to play with both to close the fridge. No hot water nor towels upon arrival, we had to call the neighbor for help , the towels he gave us were super small, not even hair size. Showers were dirty with hair, and in one of them the water wouldn't drain properly. Electricity stopped a few times we had to fix it ourselves as the neighbor wouldn't answer anymore. The pictures on expedia are nowhere close to what we found. It could be a great rental if basics were met as the house is spacious with large living room, plenty of bedrooms, nice outdoors and utensils for large groups.. we were gutted!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette grande villa autour du nouvel pour venir se retrouver entre amis. Les propriétaires étaient très aimables et serviables pour quoi que ce soit. Je recommande.

De notre séjour, nous retiendrons : - la saleté à l'intérieur des frigos mis à disposition du logement (traces indéfinissables ), preuve du manque d'un nettoyage élémentaire entre les locations - la grande majorité des matelas mis à disposition datent d’un autre siècle et sont marqués de souillures indéfinies. Certains matelas ne sont pas suffisamment épais et laissent ressentir les ressorts/lattes du sommier. Difficile de trouver le sommeil sur de telles paillasses - des années de poussière accumulée sous les lits, l'apsirateur a sans doute peur des monstres se trouvant sous les lits - la saleté du four, lui aussi, non néttoyé - des coussins souillés et plus que fatigués pour les chaises du coin à manger situé à l'extérieur - Coin barbecue : grille non nettoyée, restes d’alimentation des précédents occupants encore présents, hygiène douteuse car la grille repose notamment sur un ‘bol’ en métal dans lequel se trouve de la graisse de cuisson, résidus d’autres cuissons (que nous ne savons dater). Bref, barbecue inutilisable - la saleté des pièces d'eau comportant des traces de ruisselement dues à un non-nettoyage correct - le décalage entre les photos proposées sur le site et la réalité de la situation - le manque d'entretien général du bien mis en location (Un ou deux velux ne peuvent pas être ouverts afin d’aérer le soir les chambres sous toiture) - la maison ne ferme pas à clef et le propriétaire n'est pas certain d'être assuré contre le vol - nous avons du faire la vaisselle de toutes les assiettes et verres à notre arrivée - lits de soleil fatigués au bord de la terrasse - babyfoot, hamac, table de ping-pong inutilisables ou fortement dégradés - Salon de piscine vieillot avec des coussins qui tiendront éloignés les personnes allergiques à la poussière ou aux accariens - Un propriétaire qui ne reconnait pas la situation et tente de miniser nos plaintes par une mauvaise foi et des solutions inappropriées au regard de ce qui est évoqué plus haut. Il considère que le bien est en état de location (quant à l'hygiène), qu'il n'a pas à modifier les photos du site de location. Il tentera malgré tout de petites actions correctrices mais qui sont inappropriées au vu de l'ampleur de l'entretien à effectuer. Bref, passez votre chemin et ne vous arrêtez certainement pas ici. Tout n'y est que déception et vacances gâchées.
