Ancient holiday home with private pool

Welcome to this wonderful holiday home in the north of the Auvergne. With 2 bedrooms, the apartment is ideal for a family. As of spring 2021, the new swimming pool (7.2 x 3.6m) will be ready, so your stay will be even more pleasant! There is an old quarry close to the house. It is no longer in use, so you can easily take a quick look. Just 3km away is the village of Buxières-les-Mines. The local bakery will provide you with a tasty croissant for your breakfast. The famous city of Vichy is also definitely worth a visit. This city is well known for its lovely architectural style. Clermont-Ferrand is a bit further away, but this city is also a must! There is a large, covered terrace right against the house. It includes a large barbecue with a lounge section. In addition, you also have an enormous garden at your disposal, where you can go for beautiful walks. There are no direct neighbours, so all privacy is guaranteed! Pets are also welcome here.

Toen ik boekte, stond er in de beschrijving dat de tuin omheind was. Dat blijkt niet zo te zijn. Voor ons een domper, toen we aankwamen met onze 2 honden. Gelukkig konden we het oplossen met schapengaas, maar ons idee dat de honden een enorme ruimte zouden hebben om veilig rond te rennen en spelen, ging dus niet door. Voor honden die vanzelf bij je blijven en niet zelfstandig op onderzoek uitgaan, is het een paradijs. Het grondstuk is enorm groot (prachtig!), we maken onze wandelingen erop. Het uitzicht is heerlijk, alleen maar groen. Geen buren, geen verkeer. Het zoemen van de pomp van het opgezette zwembadje is het enige “irritante” geluid. ;) De rust hier is geweldig! Voor jonge kinderen is het hier ook leuk, voor pubers minder, denk ik. De wifi is prima. Het huis is schoon, maar je kunt wel stof, spinrag, insecten en spinnen verwachten in alle hoeken van een oud, Frans huis. Voor een aantal ramen zit een hor, fijn! Alles is aanwezig, in overvloed. Erg handig ook, dat linnen-, bad- en keukengoed aanwezig is. De zitplekken - binnen en buiten - zijn gezellig en comfortabel. Het bed slaapt goed! Al met al zijn wij erg tevreden met dit vakantiehuis en voelen we ons hier prettig. We genieten nog even vrolijk verder!

We zijn zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door Karla, die vlak in de buurt woont. Na een telefoontje een uur voor aankomst wachtte zij ons op in het vakantiehuis. Wie van rust en ruimte houdt is hier aan het goede adres. Het huis is echt compleet ingericht. Op kookgebied is werkelijk alles aanwezig. Je kunt het zo gek niet bedenken of het is er. Verder is het huis gezellig ingericht. We voelden ons er meteen thuis. Je kunt heerlijk buiten zitten waar je uitkijkt over de gigantische tuin. Als het warm is kun je afkoelen in het zwembadje. Ook prima voor kinderen. Er zijn schommels, een trampoline en een speelhut. De omgeving is prachtig landelijk. Voor wie van goed eten houdt zijn er diverse prima restaurants in de buurt. Aanrader: Château d’Ygande. Wij hebben daar heerlijk gelucht. In verband met corona hebben onze vakantie voornamelijk in en rond het huis gevierd, zodat ik weinig te vertellen heb over wat er in de omgeving te doen is.
