The lady who checked us in was very friendly & great to talk to. She upgraded our room to a newly remodeled room so that we wouldn’t have to take all our luggage up the stairs to the 2nd floor. The property is under new ownership & progress is being made to improve everything.

Stay at the Spur

The price was commensurate with the room. On one wall the electricity did not work for the plug in for the light. The shower had no shelves or hooks to hang wash cloth or put your soap on. Room 121. However the bed was very comfortable. I am not sure if the hotel had the problem or the satellite company because the signal in the tv kept freezing every so often. A message said the signal could be disrupted which could be due to the weather. If it persist contact the owner. It persisted but I was not willing to get dressed to go complain. I could not find a phone in the room either. The room was clean and the bed nice so I could be happy.

Great stay

The front desk lady was lovely. The hotel is older and in need of some maintenance, but the room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The new owner is obviously starting renovations based on the construction materials in the parking lot. But the room was clean quiet and comfortable. I would stay again

The place is having renovations. I think that it will be an excellent budget-friendly space in the future. The staff were very pleasant and the bed, which was the most important part was comfortable.

It was very run down, decided not to stay after looking at the room . The maintenance man was working on the floor in the room next to us. Very loud. The woman at the front desk told us that he would be done soon. But we didnt like the feel of the hotel at all. Especially after an 8 hour drive. I fully expected to be out the money for the room but the lady at the front desk was so accommodating that she got us a refund. She was the best thing about this hotel.

property was very clean, bed was comfortable...very Unitarian,,,,,,sign in the office told that it was under new ownership and was being restored. It worked for us, but we reserved a room with 3 beds, to arrive and found it was on 2nd floor, I am disabled , extremely hard to negotiate stairs, my son is blind so steps are dangerous...they did give me a discount for 2nd room

Our room was nicely remodeled. window shaker air conditioner would not operate properly. Room was hot, opened windows and dealt with bugs and street noise. Outside the property looks very poor.
