Mama Bear’s Den- Pet Friendly

Mama Bear's Den is conveniently located across the street from the grocery store, 3 blocks from downtown restaurants & shopping, and an easy 2-minute drive to the hospital. This cottage offers a large yard for your pet and kiddos to play, plenty of off-street parking and a shared picnic area complete with BBQ and firepit. If you need more space, please check out our other listing, Baby Bear's Playhouse.

Mama Bear's Den is a small cottage ideal for two adults, or a couple traveling with one or two children, or two couples. This is a 600 square foot house with a combined kitchenette and seating area, two bedrooms, and a full bathroom. This house has a large deck with a table for outdoor dining. You can take the short trail to the enclosed picnic area where you will find a fire pit surrounded by comfortable seating ideal for toasting marshmallows and roasting hot dogs. There is a charcoal BBQ. The picnic area is a shared space with our other guests and is perfect place to make new friends.

You have access to the whole house and your porch privately for your use. There is a common shared space that includes a fire pit and barbecue area.

The place was clean and fully met my expectations. Easy to find with great parking. On a more pleasant evening I could have walked to The Palace for drinks or to the little local theatre. The very best coffee in town is basically across the street and of course it’s nice to have Safeway right there to grab dinner options for cooking up in the decently outfitted kitchen. It’s a sweet little spot and I would def stay there again as I’m often in Burns for work.

Extremely clean and well maintained. For the same price as a hotel, this was a no brainer. I will book every time I’m passing through. Super convenient check in, everything was seamless. They offered everything needed to make my dogs feel at home as well. Even down to the detail of leaving 2 milkbones for them for a treat :) although we didn’t use the kitchen, it was stocked with essentials for your stay. The place was perfect for what we needed. It was close to stores and food and a beautiful drive to scenic places we wasted to visit. I love that it's right next to a Safeway so it was easy to grab a few things that I forgot at home. Everything's else you could possibly want is within a mile and a half. It was the perfect location. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom was spacious and the two bedrooms were great. The mattresses are so comfortable. We definitely would stay here again!

When we arrived the host had the air conditioner on, which was wonderful! It was 100 degrees. The place was clean, has comfortable furniture, and the bed was good. The place is close to Safeway but very quiet neighborhood. We only spent one night but we will go back if we go to that area again.
