everything was excellent. personnel, location. a bit dated but the price. more than compensated. only problem was internet in the room? but worked great in the top public area.supermarket next door. fridge micro and cooking utensils available so we saved a lot. very quiet. i would come back

It is a decent hotel for the budget minded . Close to everything. Staff is very nice, except a nasty young fellow at the reception that need to be taught the "golden rule" of customer service...."it is not what you say....it is in the way of what you say it"

When I commented that there weren't enough bowls/pans the management responded and brought some. The condition of the property is dated, but everything works. The staff was very nice and helpful, except for one woman (with dark hair and complexion) who wasn't as helpful and didn't make effort to find information about nearby attractions or transportation to the airport. The location is great to explore the historical center of BA.

Cons: The room looks smaller than advertised. It looks outdated, mold on the bathroom ceiling. I don't know if all the rooms look like that. Pros: The view is great (Av 9 de Julio). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the top floor was great, including the staff. Wi-Fi decent speed.

Buenos Aires is great fun, but needs to be careful

centrally located near many major tourist attractions, many within walking distance. receptionist speak Spanish only - we managed by English and hand signals. 70 cable channels - only 2 in English. Buenos Aires has many pickpockets and scams for tourists and locals. Need to be careful. We had no problems and totally enjoyed our 4 days there.

Hotel is old but room was comfortable. We used room with 4 people(2 adults and 2 kids). Room had 2 single beds and sofa which turns into 2 single beds. Our kids did not mind sleeping on sofa beds, but for adults, it is not comfortable and not recommended. Hotel is located on the main busy street of Buenos Aires.

Not a place I would stay at

I didi not like anything about this hotel and actually ended up staying with a friend outside the city. The hotel is in a pretty depressing neighborhood, the hotel is kind of deserted and is located in an office building. The room did not look like anything in the pictures and was really bad. When I tried to address the problem the hotel staff did not seem interested and just shrugged it off. The reason why I booked the place is because it was cheap but I highly recommend that you pay more and stay in a better place.

Central Location & clean hotel

Room was great - had enough beds for 5, and had a small kitchen area. Right in the centre of the city, although some of the surrounding area is not the most desirable. Hotel service was very good, although there were not many english-speaking staff! Overall, its a great hotel - recommended.

Great location and having a kitchen (small frig, hot plate, microwave) was a bonus. Could have used a coffee maker. Hotel service is good. They don't speak English, but put up w/ my Spanglish. They have a cut-off time of room cleaning in early afternoon which can be bothersome if you are not an early riser. Kids stayed on bunk beds while hubby and I had a double bed (all one room, seprated by hallway kitchen). Location is awesome and safe.
