I would like to give a 5 star review on this property but I just couldn't. I really like the fact that it is so close to the Basilica, to great restaurants, supermarket and public transportation. Breakfast was excellent as well. Room size was decent. However, my AC did not work. It was really hot when I stayed there and I reported the matter to the front desk staff but the matter was not resolved. For three nights, my sleep was not very comfortable. Will I stay here again? Probably not, unless the AC in my room was fixed.

Great location!

Lovely room, friendly, helpful staff. Everything was perfect except for the air conditioning which stopped working sporadically. Staff handled it quickly and fixed it promptly. Very clean. Outstanding location. I would stay there again.

I booked 3 nights and left after the first. Because it was to uncomfortable to sleep. 24.5 and humid when Ifirst arrived it only ever cooled down to 23.5 and humid. About 8pm i had the desk clerk check the AC he pushed some buttons then said it should work. It didnt he had to know. I called management the next morning they said the AC could only cool so many degrees diffrent than the outside air. I said the why didnt it cool off at night? When it was 18.3. They did offer me a fan. I opend the window at night and that helped but a car alarm went off 3 times and the lights were too much. The location was great. The shower was a bit small.

Great location—just steps from Saint Stephen Basilica, with plenty of activities and restaurants nearby. Clean and spacious rooms, and a good breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance of most attractions, making it very convenient for exploring Budapest. Special thanks to the staff for the thoughtful birthday chocolate and sparkling wine in our room, which made our stay extra special. We appreciated the friendly, attentive service throughout our visit.

This is in a perfect location, walk out the door and the basilica is right there along with everything else you would need. If you dn't like to hear the church bells, this may be a problem, but I loved hearing it. THe breakfast was great, a lot of different choices. I would stay there again. This location is perfect; you can walk out the door and find the basilica right there, along with everything else you might need. If you dislike hearing church bells, this could be a drawback, but I personally found it enjoyable. We had the two-room suite, and it was clean and updated. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in great location and staff is great. Unfortunately the amenities and facilities could be upgraded! We stayed twice, and in two different rooms ( regular and deluxe) the shower doors were broken and could not be closed completely. The drains are so clogged, that we had to turn off the water every few minutes to prevent overflowing. And the bathroom are not well appointed. There is no flat surface to put anything down! Toiletries, makeup, medicines, you name it - nowhere to place but the floor. Finally, what the hotel calls coffeemaker is simply a kettle and instant coffee packs.

The Sign is on the Door for a Reason

This was a great hotel with a wonderful price for its outstanding location! The only complaint that I have is that the cleaning lady came into my room when I had the “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door. I had a feeling to go back to my hotel to take a break from touring when I walked up & saw her in my room looking at my items & touching my travel bags. She told me she found the sign in the room (which falls & glides on the floor as it happened to me earlier) instead of on the door & I politely asked her to leave as I didn’t need any cleaning service or anything more in my room. I was there during Christmas Market season so everything was walkable from this hotel. The Christmas market was a lot smaller than what I thought it was going to be, but so special because of the location & history of Budapest.
