Village House with private pool in Chianti, in the hamlet of Duddova which has just 17 inhabitants and a little shop selling local products and genuine dinners served along the alley of the village during the summer months. The marvelous area of Chianti, well-known for its landscapes, history, food and wine, mixes all the oldest traditions of Tuscany for a charming holiday experience.
This village house is cozy and welcoming. It also disposes an equipped terrace furnished with table and chairs. a few steps away from the house, there is a private area provided with garden furniture and a beautiful private swimming pool (above ground). It is the perfect base to start exploring the famous Chianti area, with its typical villages and farming estates as well as the famous Siena, San Gimignano, Florence, Arezzo.

Duddova 2019

Lovely quiet location only 17 villagers there. Easy place to travel to other areas from. Swimming pool was a 100 yard walk down a rocky path but plenty of mosquitoes around. Neighbours were lovely and very helpful. Local restaurant was not very good and meal rushed. Overall a lovely holiday would recommend the area.

Duddova Get Away in Tuscan Countryside

Casa la Ruota was indeed a charming property and we had a very pleasant stay. It was very small, but with excellent weather we did not need a larger property. The garden and pool were lovely and we spent a great deal of time there. Duddova itself is tiny with no village shop although there is a nice restaurant. The downsides of the property were that there was no satellite TV or DVD player and the aircon was too loud to have on at night. A few fans would have been more effective. The owner very kindly provided us with some essentials as we arrived . We would go back to this charming residence, but a DVD player would be a cheap addition that would be very welcome for those evenings we weren't eating out.

Charming old Italian cottage with use of beautiful garden

Arrived to a very clean cottage with welcome food and wine waiting for us. The owner Mauro arrived soon after and took us to a private garden with small pool for our sole use during our stay. The garden is beautiful with fantastic views of the Tuscan country side, it is very well equipped with furniture and even has use of a fridge to keep drinks cool. A very comfortable stay, a very quiet and friendly village with a superb local restaurant, Mauro was easily contactable if needed would highly recommend this property.

Top, geweldig, klein knus huisje lekker koel, voor herhaling vatbaar.

Wat een toplocatie, in een leuk gezellig gehucht met leuke en lieve bewoners, ff schrikken dat de tuin met zwembad niet aan het huis vast zit maar 100 mtr verderop, maar achteraf wat een mooie prive plek en wat een mooi onderhouden tuin met zwembad, geweldig. Nog nooit zoiets meegemaakt. En lieve buren, eigenaar discreet, alles in 1 woord, Top, Geweldig, 10+, wonderbaarlijk, absolute aanrader, fantastische dorpjes in de buurt, (alles in 1 woord lukt niet)

Bellissima esperienza

All’arrivo siamo stati accolti con frutta, acqua, latte, una bottiglia di vino e un dolce fatto dai proprietari. È stata una esperienza nuova per noi e il nostro rottweiler in questo piccolo borgo dove regna la tranquillità, completamente immersi nella natura. Il giardino con piscina è attrezzato di tutto con spazi molto grandi, tutto pulito e curato. Sicuramente ci piacerebbe ritornare :)

Relax assoluto

Soggiorno di una settimana ad Agosto, in questa struttura ottima per rilassarsi. Accoglienza da parte del proprietario, che ha provveduto anche a degli omaggi (cibo per la colazione, frutta fresca, bottiglia di vino, etc.). Casa divisa in due piani: il piano terra è molto fresco mentre il primo è un po' caldo. Viene fornito un condizionatore ma è molto rumoroso, quindi difficilmente si riesce a far andare tutta la notte (anche per non disturbare la quiete delle persone vicine). Giardino splendido e con una vista magnifica. Tuttavia difficile da fruire per tutta la giornata per la grande quantità di tafani che risultano molto fastidiosi. Ci sono delle trappole sugli alberi, ma la loro presenza rimane comunque molto invadente (vengono forniti degli zampironi che non risultano molto efficaci). Wi-Fi inutilizzabile (prende solo al primo piano) e anche la connessione dati fatica. Riassumendo, casa consigliata a chi cerca relax o vuole usare la casa come appoggio per visitare la zona circostante (Arezzo, Siena, Monteriggioni, Volterra). Sconsigliata se si pensava ad un utilizzo intensivo del giardino per tutta la vacanza.

Urlaub in Duddova für Individualisten

Eine KLEINE Fewo !!! Es war ein schöner Urlaub .Leider ist diese Fewo wirklich nur für 2 Erwachsene zunutzen. Das sog.kleine Schlafzimmer stellt sich als eingebaute Seitenniesche, 4,2qm , die auch von der Straßenseite, über eine alte Treppe zuereichen ist. Darin Schlafen kann man darin nur bedingt. Eine als Schrank verkleidete Warmwassertherme , spingt des Nachts lautstark an. Das eigenliche Schlafzimmer liegt im obersten Stockwerk jedoch das Bad/WC im unteren Bereich erreichbar, nur mit vielen Treppenabsätzen und einer steilen Stiege, die zu allem Unglück , während unseres Aufenthalt`s ,an der Mittelstufe zusammengebrochen ist !!! Zum Glück waren "nur"ein paar Hautabschürfungen zu beklagen. Der überaus hilfsbereite ,für Wohnungsbetreuung zuständige Verwalter Mauro, hat per Telefon sogleich einen Schweißer beauftagt. WELAN funktioniert LEIDER nicht. TV nur Italienisches TV ,Werbe,-Shopping, sowie Regionalsender kann man nur über 2 kleine, in der Küche und im Schlafzimmer befindliche TV Geräte sehen. Für die Sprachbildung hat es genügt . Die Wohnung ist ganz nett eingerichtet ; man muß Treppensteigen akzeptieren und auf einzelne Stufen sehr achten !! Eine 3.Peron kann-und konnte nur mit Umbaumaßnahmen in der Küche Schlafen ,selbst die alte Schlafcouch war kaputt. Die Toscana ist kein Flachland und Steigen ist allemal angesagt. Sienna ,Arezzo,San Gimiano, Voltera kann man gut erreichen die nahe Rapolano Terme ;lädt zum Relax ein. Für Radsportler ist die Sierra di Chianti zu empfehlen. Im nahen Ort Ambra bekommt man alles Notwendige , ein Alimentari Laden hat beinahe alles , Zeitungen im Tabbachiladen, Bio Kooperation mit Olio,Vino und Metzger ist vorhanden. Mittagsruhe überall von 13h-16,30h, der Herrenfriseur ist SPITZE, Rasur perfekt und alle Signori aus dem Ort sind Anwesend!!! Es war Toll. Dienstags ist in der Ortsmitte Markttag ,Produkte aus der Region Empfehlenswert. In Bucine oder Arezzo kann man in größeren Shopping-Center einkaufen. Der zur Wohnung gehörende große Garten mit Pool zur Alleinnutzung ist wunderbar Aussicht über weite Olivenhaine und Wälder sowie Weinberge. Wir waren 3Wochen+ in Duddova ,die Leute waren sehr freundlich,,ein Urlaub für Individualisten. Am Wochenende kommt es schon mal zu Bauaktivitäten,es ist Bedarf vorhanden ,die alten verlassenen Häuser wieder zubeleben. Alles in Allem- ein schöner Urlaub ,mit Abstriche ! Hier spricht man Italienisch.einige Worte Englisch Kein Deutsch !

Liebevoll eingerichtetes kleines Häuschen + großer Garten mit Pool

Mit viel Hingabe eingerichtetes Häuschen in dem 17-Seelendorf Duddova, welches sogar ein tolles Restaurant bietet. Supernetter Vermieter und eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Nachbarin, die deutsch spricht. Der Garten mit Pool ist ca. 200m unterhalb – extrem gepflegt und weitläufig mit toller Aussicht. Alles absolut empfehlenswert. Danke Mauro!

Kleines gemütliches Häuschen auf dem Lande

Ein super Vermieter. Für den ersten Morgen war schon Frühstück da. Sehr hilfsbereit und detailiert. Sehr zu empfehlen! Das Häuschen liegt oben auf einem Hügel und der Garten mit Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein.
