Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. This rental has everything you need. We even allow dog(s), limit 2, we do charge a $60 pet fee. There is a BBQ grill outside with a large deck for enjoying the weather and morning coffee. This property is secluled with a Hot Tub that is located at the end of the cabin.

**please note- this getaway has a steep gravel driveway that can be tough to make it up when it rains. I have a front wheel drive and have no issues if I use a lower gear. 4wd suggested, but not required. We are not responsible for damages.

Delightful cabin even with surprises
Shady Creek was a great place to stay for three nights with my girlfriend while we enjoyed the local roads and explored the area. The setting is up hill and provides a nice, nearly secluded view into the woods. Which was enjoyable from the new hot tub that was recently installed! On the inside we were surprised to find the HVAC wasn’t working! But Troy was very quick to respond. He installed window units to make sure we were comfortable! We were also surprised to find one pane on the bedroom window was cracked and then repaired with tape. The cabin will be a part of the memory of that vacation for some time to come!

Not bad, but not the best experience
Upon arrival I had to contact the owner to get a code for the lockbox and the password for the wifi because I never received check in instructions. Speaking of the wifi it was extremely spotty and did not work for what I needed. We tried to use the grill, but the burners were so rusted it was not usable. Before we could use the coffee maker we had to deep clean it. The bathroom sink had toothpaste spit on the faucet. It was a cozy little place, but it needed to be cleaner, and the grill needs to be repaired.

Wonderful stay!
We had a great stay at the Shady Creek cabin. The cabin was comfortable, very clean, and in a quiet location. It was a perfect base for our trip to Smoky Mountains NP and had everything we needed. It also was very easy to get to downtown Bryson City. The hot tub was a great added bonus! Troy was very accommodating, kind, and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend Shady Creek!

Long Weekend Mountain Getaway
Great little cabin for our small family weekend mountain getaway. We were on the go for most of the time (hiking/site seeing), so it was perfect for us. The hot tub was an added bonus to relax after a long day and recover sore muscles. The host was very responsive and accommodating!
