Really cool place full of train history and kitsch
The hostel is a really cool place; I wish we had stayed longer to explore it more. The breakfast was lovely; the neighborhood interesting but a bit sketchy.
The staff was super helpful and accommodating. The room was clean. We were very happy with our stay.

Best avoided
Extremely rude staff who treat you like you're a criminal before you've even said a word, dark rooms with wafer-thin, uncomfortable bedding, sewer smell coming from the bathroom... The train theme is unfortunately not fun enough to make up for the shortcomings of this hotel. Nice restaurant though, with friendly staff who seem just as confused as the guests by the behaviour of the hotel management team.
Overall this is a good hostel. The decor is really cute and the common areas are really nice. The breakfast is a bit pricey at 8 euro, and during the day you can’t really be in common areas because it looks like they’re doing renovations , but in general it’s a decent place to stay if visiting Brussels
This place is a bit far from city but easily commutable. It was very neat and the staff were friendly. Would recommed this place if you are okay to stay a bit far from city. It has a nice bar just 5 mins walk from the hostel and the area was also secure.
My child and I got to stay in an empty dormitory room instead of a twin room. Bunk beds made us feel like sleeping in the overnight train and it was fun. But the bed was very narrow and sealing was too low for adult. At least, children must love it.

Disliked: Room comfort
I wasn't too thrilled with this hostel. The power outlets were very limited in the room and the beds were rather uncomfortable. It is quite outside the city with not much around it in terms of restaurants or snacks. I think you can find better within Brussels.
Very clean, very well ran hostel, great wifi, in an area very well connected to the tourist sites of Brussels by tram 92, the 59 bus or train from Schaerbeek station.
The tram which stops practically right in front of the Hostel will take you to the main art museums including the Magritte Museum, the music museum and the Royal Palace. Whilst the Bus takes you to the EU area where you can visit parliament and the train can get you quickly to the centre of Brussels.
The rooms of the hostel also makes sure that they are lockers for your belongs in your room and enough plugs to charge your electronics. Very professional relaxed atmosphere so thankfully you can get some sleep unlike other hostels I have experienced.
