Conveniently located, not far from Brussels Central Station and steps from Grand Place. Hotel is interesting (as you can see in the pics) but is somewhat run down and a literal labyrinth to get to your room. We booked a double bed (traveling with daughter) and were given a small room with a baby crib. Hotel owner was very attentive and gave us a room with two regular beds, but it was at street level and right next to an alleyway (drunk people yelling at 3-4 am) which was not pleasant since we needed to have the window open to get some ventilation going. Good enough for two nights, but wouldn’t stay more than that.

The location for this property is unbeatable. There was some noise from the street at night, but that was totally beat by being able to step out of the hotel and right into the center of activity. The hotel is such a delightful fusion of Moroccan and European styles, and we loved finding all the decor treasures throughout our stay. The staff was incredibly attentive and made our stay so lovely.

Funny and very different hotel in the heart of Bru

You either love or hate this little hotel in the heart of Brussels. It's full of Moroccan kitsch, the owner runs around joking with the guests, more or less talented amateur pianists play the café's piano. We loved the place.

In the middle of hot summer the absence of basic table fan and drinkable cold water can be the most necessary requirements however both of them were absent . One of the night was like hell due to hit weather and no proper ventilation and fan. However it was a small beautiful hotel. Location is 5 out of 5. The best location for a tourist. Breakfast was decent.

The location is fantastic and the owner is very pleasant. However, I did not feel comfortable during my stay. 1. Locating my room was challenging, its like a maze, floors and stairs going everywhere 2. We shared a balcony with multiple other rooms, so it was hot, we had to sleep with our balcony window open which left us vulnerable to the possibility of someone coming in, I felt uneasy and unsafe. I slept with my family passports and wallets under me since there was no where to lock them up 3. I understand its an old building ... but ... water pressure and temperature were up and down for the whole shower 4. General up keep could be better. There was no floor moldings, just carpet tucked under the wall, carpet was detached on the stairs in our room, soft spot on the floor by the door, an electrical outlet with no cover 5. Lack of storage. There was no where to place my luggage except a chair since I refuse to lay it on the floor, no bathroom space to put toiletries on

Would highly recommend. Not your run of the mill hotel. Quirky and different made for a refreshing change on our trip.. Bathrooms extremely clean which was our most important criterion. Also very quiet. Hotel staff aim to please. Very kind and friendly. Excellent location for transportation, shopping and sightseeing.
