I have booked this hotel for 3 couple and 2 single ladies. For couple i have booked queen bed rooms and 1 twin bed room for 2 single ladies and i got confirmation from Expedia for the room category i choose. Upon arrival on 27 July, my client called me and informed me that there is no twin bed room available and hotel staff only offered queen room even if we booked and paid well in advance.

Nice spot for a night or two

This was a good place to stay. While the rooms are small, the experience is overall good, in terms of service and location. The breakfast was soild, with good and quality options.

Très bien située, le déjeuner compris était rien de spécial mais un point positif pour nous permette d’économiser et d’avoir une routine. Nous avons pu avoir notre chambre dès notre arrivée à 11h Petit point négatif est que notre chambre donnait une vue sur d’autres chambres, donc aucune lumière du jour

The staff was very friendly and courteous. Nice secure underground parking. Small room but very clean and conveniently located. You are able to walk to everything. Restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops.. etc.. Very nice and generous breakfast buffet. hotel breakfast buffet was open at 7am. Not many cafes or restaurants open on Sunday morning at 8am.

Excellent location with easy access to Brussels city centre and tourist attractions. The hotel was very clean, entrance hall pleasant with bar and seating area. The bedroom was spacious and had hot drink facilities, hair drier, ironing board. Benefit was the car parking with large spaces whilst a tight access from street. Breakfast was excellent - continental style. Definitely recommend.

Good place to stay. Convenient to the areas that tourists would want to see. The free breakfast started out day out great! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was nice.

I had the most amazing stay in this wonderfully located hotel. Everything is within walking distance and so easy. Staff was great as well. But especially Azziz from the (late night team) front desk who stood out amazingly with his distinct professionnalism. Anything you asked, he simply went above and beyond! This person should be in management level for his genuine and profound understanding of customer service and his great leadership in handling any matter. Thank you.

Misleading to call it Holiday Inn Grand Place. Should be more accurately named Place Sainte Catherine. Make it clearer that the nearest Metro station is Le Broukere. Staff very friendly, excellent and efficient breakfast system. Lovely coffee & fresh pastries. Very clean. Rooms very small but very well sound-proofed. Quiet at night. Excellent large walk-in shower. Ridiculously large chair which took up a whole corner of the room & made it impossible to walk round the bed. Would have appreciated a safe in the room.

If you travel with a car, it’s very hard to find parking spot on street to check in. Their only underground parking is so narrow to drive in. When you are in the underground parking, no card can’t go back to lobby. Before 3pm, it’s impossible to get your room.

Really good apart from the fact the staff gave incorrect info to the taxi they booked for us and this cost at least double what we should have paid to get to the station which we asked for which was close by. We should have double checked!! Assumed the route the driver took was because of one way system. Didn’t walk just because of the heat ..

Although the woman who checked me in was rude, my four nights at this hotel were very nice. My room was comfortable and clean; breakfast was very good; and the hotel is located in a nice, safe neighborhood (which was important as I was traveling alone). Easy walk to Grand Place and nice restaurants. I would stay here again for the reasons I listed.
