Lovely guest house with very welcoming and hospitaple hosts. Conviniently located a stones through away from the peeing statue, whilst maintaining a quiet atmosphere. This is not a hotel - you are welcomed into a home. The host is beyond helpful and after a few hours feels like a real friend you have known for years! The room is the top floor (yes, there are a few stairs to climb) entailing a beautiful bedroom and bathroom - lots of character. Although it’s just a few steps from the heart of Brussel, the street is peaceful and quiet.

We had a nice stay at this property. The host is nice, helpful, and accessible, and provided useful information that made our visit to the city enjoyable. Excellent accommodation and host

The owner/manager of this property, Pascal, was accommodating and was helpful in explaining to us where to go and arranging breakfast at our selected time. Pascal did also walked with us to help us locate a pharmacy (on Sunday). Room and toilet are big for someone coming from London and room is tidy and the bed is comfy. The only issue for someone else could be the stairs. However, this was not a problem for us.

After walking up 42 steps you will enter a large bedroom with a separate large bathroom. There is a high step between the two. There is a high sided tub with only a hand held shower. Pascal the host is very friendly and helpful. Even offered to walk with us to Central Station helping with luggage. Would we stay again* For most people I would say absolutely stay here. For us older folks,81and 78, I would be sorry to say no.

The property is wonderfully located. It is a nice historic house and the bedroom and bath are very spacious. The problem for us was that the tub is a high step over the rim and the shower is only hand held. Since my husband has double knee replacement, this was a problem and providing a step stool would have made life easier. Although I like a chilly bedroom at night, it was also quite cold during the day. The owner seemed quite put out that we mentioned these problems.
