Beautiful stay in a beautiful hotel!

This the most modern, beautifully designed and and artistic hotels I’ve ever stayed at! Great location, in the center of town, next to a train station. Comfortable beds, all the amenities. Restaurants, gym and pool are amazing, as well as the customer service. If you love modern art, you will love this hotel. We will definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience overall. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a great ambience, making for a very comfortable stay. The check-in and check-out process was quick and efficient, which was much appreciated. One of the highlights was the bar staff, who were friendly, attentive, and created a welcoming atmosphere. The overall service throughout the hotel was excellent. The only minor issue was with housekeeping – while the room was clean, I did have to request that the floor be swept more carefully due to some blonde hair left behind. However, this was quickly addressed, and I have no other complaints. Overall, an excellent stay, and I would definitely return!

I really wanted to like this place but ....well I just can't. I would say the best part of this hotel is breakfast and checking out. First let's start with arrival. Good luck finding the parking garage, and when you do find it there's NOTHING to indicate that this particular garage has anything to do with the hotel, that is until you travel down and get the parking ticket. Then you'll see a sign for the hotel, but don't expect to get to the hotel from the garage. You'll have to take the elevator to the Manhattan Center, exit the building and make your way over to the hotel about 150 away. That's not too terrible except all the smokers and beggera standing outside. Once you make it to the lobby good luck on figuring anything out. There's an empty receptionist desk and nothing to indicate you need to make your way to second floor. It doesn't take much to put up a sign. Finally made it to the second floor and the check in line was down the hall. Almost a twenty minute wait to check in. Did I forget to mention the lobby downstairs smells like smoke and sewage. Okay, all checked in. Let's check out the pool. Not happening I think every one who checked in wa in the pool. I'll pass. The room was fine, the heat didn't work so so much for staying warm. The breakfast was the highlight and I wouldn't waste time on any other meals.

We were a bit disappointed about the wait times at the hotel. As we arrived we were in a huge queue for about 30 minutes to check in. Then we were told we had to book the sauna and relaxation area which should be made clear in advance and they were closing at 7 but when we went up there were hardly any people in the sauna and they stayed beyond 7pm. The spa was also not attended , twice we were waiting to talk to someone for more than 10 minutes . We then wanted to book a dinner table which was all booked out too, then asked if we can have drinks in the rooftop bar, we were told no problem. We got ready , went back, waited another 20 minutes as the table allocations were very slow. Only to be told that we cannot go in for drinks as they are busy! Come back at 11… We went to the 2nd floor bar where everyone again had to wait for drinks for at least 15-20 minutes . It was a little busy but nowhere as busy where you’d have to wait that kind of time. The hotel looks fabulous but this really ruined the mood for the night and we didn’t enjoy as much as we could have. There is also a €50 deposit you have to pay after booking the room. This is not stated on the Expedia website, I just got an email 3 days before our stay about it. Overall a lovely place but the services and spa facilities need to be better managed especially during busy times.

Central Modern Art Hotel

Great location - entrance to metro right outside the hotel. Check-in staff super helpful & friendly. The room was gorgeous & as shown in pictures. Breakfast was great. Instructions / prices to use spa & swimming pool unclear, you had to book for spa but we were told we didn't have to. Some miscommunication - that was the only issue we had. Otherwise a really really pleasant stay & will definitely comeback when next in Brussels.

Brussels Weekend

We chose the hotel because of it's spa facilities and pool. The spa is not extensive, there is a sauna and the usual treatments available, and the rooftop pool offers great views across the city. The hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from the Grand Place and next door to the Metro so getting around was easy. Very good standard of room with all the latest pad control with access to services. The staff were very pleasant and helpful too. I can't comment on the food or dining as we ate out in some of the many great restaurants in the city. All in all would definitely stay here again.

Special treatment!!

This stay was just exquisite and very luxurious. I did spend a little more on this hotel because it was my birthday and they definitely offered value for money beyond my expectations. Firstly all the staff greeted us pleasantly and with a smile any time of day or night. A great location with plenty of places to go, eat and shop just with a short walk or great public transport routes. The rooms in the hotel are 'out of this world' very cool, modern art décor that really 'pops' out at you, in the rooms as well as throughout the hotel. At check in the receptionist noticed it was my birthday the next day and handed me some expensive Belgium branded chocolates. We had also added breakfast and I thought why not treat myself while in this very luxurious hotel and I received a lovely surprise at the breakfast table. A beautifully decorated pear tart and all the staff gathered to sing 'happy birthday' to me which made me feel really special. Also later on that day when we returned to the room it had been cleaned with another little treat from another expensive brand. The hotel also had a rooftop pool and terrace and even though it was cold outside the indoor pool was a great place to relax. I would without a doubt stay at this Hotel again! One of my best experiences of a hotel in a long time. I did noticed they treated all the other guests really well regardless of if its your birthday or not! Extremely satisfied.

I love the decor and style of this hotel, but a few things let it down. It takes too long to check in - usually compounded by not enough staff but the process takes way too long with no value add except trying to cross sell breakfast. The lift wait times are unacceptable; on Tuesday around 18:00 I had to wait around 15mins to go to the 22nd floor. It felt like only 2 of the 6 lifts were working. Finally, the cups in rooms are too small and have no handles so you need tissue paper to drink hot drinks. Please more English breakfast tea in rooms - Brits tend to prefer it to fancy coffee.

Noisy

The hotel is very masculine decor. The roof top pool is beautiful and the spa staff were brilliant. The noise between corridors and rooms with doors banging and even in the roof top pool isn't good and you can hear people in the street and multiple sirens throughout the night. It's a great location and 4 stops on the T4 from Midi. Everyone be is walking distance. People come up to the pool in outdoors clothes and wonder around which is so rude but should be stopped. I imagine it's rammed in the summer months.
