Nice hotel, service not great

Check in was not great, but we eventually got our pre booked and pre paid rooms. Room was comfortable, large and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable. Restaurant was not great. Waiter brusque at best! Menu very limited and only the items listed on the black board available. No atmosphere in the restaurant, shame as very nicely presented and the food was ok Would stay again, but not eat.

Quiet and comfortable

It's a quiet, comfortable hotel with a quirky ambience. They had a pair of pet rabbits in a fenced area alongside the reception desk -- a charming treat for children (and for my wife). The breakfast was fresh and had lots of choices. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Good, spacious rooms, easy to find.

Place appears a little tired from the outside but fine inside. Room was very spacious with a king size bed and plenty of room. Would have preferred a separate shower rather than a shower over a bath, but some would no doubt prefer the bath. Easy to find, on the main road but far enough away that there is no traffic noise.

Hotel was absolutely fine - a little bit tired and showing it’s age but great location off the motorway on a long drive through France. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Stopped here overnight on our way to italy. Very easy to reach to and from motorway. Decent enough motel type accommodation with good free parking. Nice patio area. Very small swimming pool. Friendly staff. Room had fridge and a kettle but did not provide tea or coffee. Have to drive into saint avoid town so nothing within walking distance.

Fairly comfortable stay

A decent hotel priced well, but not quite in the city centre. I knew that, and that worked for me. Room was a bit dated, and I must admit, I am not a fan of their pillows. Makes me feel a bit stiff in the morning. But otherwise not a bad stay. Worked for an overnight stay. Rooms are fairly spacious

This is a very convenient hotel for travellers; and offers a good standard of service, quiet and comfort. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with kettle, fridge and table. I like the separate bathroom and toilet too. The bar serves fine beer It offers easy parking and relief at the end of a long drive. The staff are lovely and helpful. A couple of years ago, I commented that management didn’t seem to have an effective staffing plan, because although the staff were clearly doing their best, they were unable to meet customer demand in reception, bar and restaurant. I’m glad to report that although the staff are still busily multi-tasking, they are doing better. However, there are delays in reception and bar, which other hotels of a similar standard manage to avoid. Having said this, the young man staffing reception and bar during our visit was brilliant, warm and thoughtful to our needs. Thanks for a good stay overall.

Convenient location just off the motorway. Easy to find with secure car parking. Family room was double bed with 2 fold out singles from the sofa. Wifi worked. Hotel just looked generally a bit shabby and in need of a bit of renovation/new carpets etc.
