Best choice in Bruges

The service was exceptional! The hotel is centrally located two blocks from the main square. When we arrived, they had our rooms ready two hours early. They provided us with great information on where to go and had a welcome drink ready. Babette and Laurence were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Though it's rustic, the hotel was updated in all the important areas. The bed was stellar, and the bathroom fully appointed and updated. Excellent water pressure in the shower (a common issue in boutique hotels) and a fully functioning coffee/espresso maker! Plus they provided a bottle of still and a bottle of sparkling water daily.

The property was was a gorgeous old building with heritage decor and lush furnishings. The staff were very friendly and helpful. With only 20 rooms a lot of individual attention is given. Absolutely loved my stay

Great location in the heart of Bruges a boutique hotel that offers charming facilities with very good standard and personal attentive service. Excellent extensive breakfast buffet with hot and cold choices served in a lovely dining room using quaint delicate crockery. We felt the Terrace area on the side of the canal was spoilt somewhat by the co-location of tourist boats and lines of tourists waiting to embark. Overall a very nice experience if a little overly expensive for what is on offer!

The location was amazing with walkability to amazing historical sites and museums. The breakfasts were vast and the staff went out of their way to accommodate my vegan needs. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and generous with their time. We would go back and stay at this hotel in a heart-beat.

What a beautiful, unique experience. We arrived nearer to noon than 3 but our room was ready. We were gifted chocolate, two welcome drinks from the bar, and a detailed walking map with a route outlined. Our receptionist had a beautiful smile and we felt perfectly welcome. Our room was a “Comfort room” with a view of the belfry tower. A few times we opened our window to enjoy the cool air, but majority of the time used our very effective AC. The room has a mini fridge/bar, a writing desk and enough access to charge our devices. The bathroom is marble with a hand held sprayer and a rain shower head. Instant hot water made the shower efficient and pleasant. The bedding was extra comfortable. I wish I could bring these sheets home with me! There were two super soft “throws” in the closet, which we used throughout the stay. We stayed three nights. During our stay we asked for extra water - they provide a bottle of still and sparkling every day, but I drink a lot of water- and extra coffee. One day I was sick and stayed in all day - they graciously left a basket of towels and supplies outside our door. The common areas are beautiful, warm colors, rich fabrics, beautiful wood paneling and elaborate fireplaces. We now wish we had switched our schedule and spent more time here. Not because of Bruges, but because of the quality of this experience. It’s not modern. It’s not busy or noisy, it’s perfectly complimentary to a stay in a medieval town. Lovely stay

Excellent service and communication pre-check in. Nice lobby area and tasty breakfast. We had the top floor room which was quite hot, but we slept with the windows open and were comfortable. Recommend!
