Clean room conveniently located on 1st floor of lodge, and sound proofed very well from adjacent lobby area. The bed had soft, squishy pillows which I don't like. I asked for firm replacements and they were PERFECT pillows for my comfort. The scenery in general was attractive hill country and the ambiance was quiet and relaxing. A good get-a-way!

The staff was very courteous & welcoming. We arrived late in the evening so it was a bit difficult to find yet overall an excellent stay. The room was spotless, smelled amazing & the bed was so comfy. The view from the balcony in the morning was breathtaking ! The grill also did not disappoint from the pancakes to the coffee...we definitely recommend !

I liked this little gem in Central Texas. I had seen it before when looking for a halfway point between Houston and Lubbock and came back to it over Thanksgiving break when I needed a place to stay to break up the trip. We had two small kids and dog and this was a great accommodation. We came in at night so we didn't really know what we were looking at and we could tell it was a nice place but it was just different at night. In the morning when I woke up and stepped out onto the porch of my cabin I thought wow this is really cool. My husba nd wished he could have played golf, he even had his golf clubs but we just didn't ha ve time. He thought it would be a great place for a weekend golf getaway with the guys, or the girls.

Very cozy and quiet cabin. Beautiful view. Absolutely love the front porch. Only two things kept me from giving a five star review. First, the bed in our cabin was extra firm and second, please add a coffee pot.

Everything was good. Great location and very pretty grounds. We wish the fireplace was turned on in the sitting area in the evening when it cooled down.. would have been a nice area to hang out. Some areas smelled musty, the carpet on the stairs is in need of replacement. We requested a late checkout and the fee was going to be $50 for 1 hour.. the whole night was only <$150.. that seemed a bit exorbitant so we declined.

Great facility and golf resort! Unfortunately a water line broke and there was no water in the lodge. The staff offered a cabin but I just stayed in the lodge for my 1 night.

Beware of hidden “fees”. I was charged 88 dollars on top of paying in full via hotels.com. The upstairs is terrible the stairs are very steep. Once you reach the top it is 2 twin mattresses on the floor and you can’t stand because the ceiling is to low.
