Chose not to buy breakfast but managed to get a lovely goat cheese salad late (just before 9pm) after a long drive. Lovely large rooms and bathroom which were spotless and really comfortable bed. Enjoyed the spa facilities as usual and all staff very polite.

Had trip booked for my partners birthday which I contacted hotel to let them know and they said they would put note on booking. His birthday wasnt acknowledged. Cracked tiles in bathroom in bedroom, staff came in to do turn down service and left a note on pillow saying welcome back Shannon. My name is not Shannon. At dinner we ordered a bottle of wine had to ask for it as it hadn’t came to table. When brought it was left on table waitress didn’t ask if we wanted to taste and she didn’t offer to pour it either. Steam room in spa had a lot of broken tile some where lying on the floor. I was so looking forward to it as hotel is supposed to be 5star. I definitely would say it isn’t.

We stayed for one night, the room was spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable and the room was lovely and warm. The staff at check in was extremely friendly and also the housekeeping staff were so lovely when we were leaving our room the next morning. The breakfast was fantastic, especially David. He was great fun and welcoming and explained everything in such detail. We will definitely stay again
