Broadstairs -stunning large family Victorian house, sleeps 8 close to the beach

Sunshine Villa is a large Victorian house that has recently been lovingly restored to a high standard. Two reception rooms, dining room for 8 and a fully fitted, modern kitchen create a spacious, airy home which is ideal for large groups or families - who need space while on holiday by the sea. We use hotel bed linen - beautiful white linen & fluffy white towels.

The south facing Moroccan themed courtyard with seating is a tranquil place to relax after a day on the beach.

Each bedroom is carefully decorated to create a relaxing environment for our guests - 2 bathrooms / a separate WC is ideal for large groups.

There is a 'play room' for children which includes, TV and a box of fun dressing up clothes, lots of books and games.

Golf is only a putt away at the North Foreland golf course or mini golf is 5 minutes away. Great coastal bike and walking trails. Sailing clubs. There's something for everyone in Broadstairs - old or young. Our pictures say it all.

Surrounding areas: With fast rail links to Ashford International and Ebbsfleet International, Europe is easily reached on Eurostar. The port of Dover is only 30 minutes drive away where you can hop on a ferry to France. Don't forget your passport!

Historic Canterbury is only a 30 minute drive away, with its spectacular cathedral, city walls, restaurants, shops and parks. Step back in time at one of our nearby castles - Dover, Deal, Walmer, Leeds and Rochester Castles are all easily reached by car in under an hour.

Visit Ramsgate's Royal Harbour for a taste of the Mediterranean (on a sunny day!), to take out a boat for seal watching or sea fishing, or just to watch the boats from its many cafes and bars. Ramsgate and Margate host their own annual festivals and events.

Lovely house!

Our three-generation family had a wonderful stay despite the ropey weather! The house is so welcoming, and the shabby-chic style was definitely to our taste. Everything was spotless and in working order. Our kids were a little too old for the toys and games in the small upstairs room but this is a lovely addition for young children. Location is fantastic. Only five minutes walk to the beach, just a few metres from the main street (very close to two great Fish & Chip shops and on a quiet street. We all thoroughly recommend the property for large family groups or friends.

The weather was not good so we spent a lot of time at the house my 4 year old granddaughter loved the playroom and lounge had plenty of seating for us ,well equipped kitchen lots of quirky pieces about the house,great location 2 mins from beach.the beds were so comfy and linen beautiful, Great holiday

This Apartment has everything, yards away from pubs, restaurants, beach, but tucked away in a quiet street. we will definitely go back, the best holiday apartment i have ever been in.

Lovely house with very comfortable beds. Everything you could need. Fabulous location. Lots of pubs ,restaurants and cafes to choose from on your doorstep. Short walk to the train station which will take you to Margate ,Ramsgate and Canterbury .

Gorgeous holiday home

Stayed for 4 nights. 7 of us ranging from 68-15. We had an amazing time away and we were very lucky with with the warm sunny weather. House was clean, well equipped and very comfy. We took advantage of the short walk (10 mins) to the train station an visited Deal, Margate and Canterbury. Very reasonable priced tickets and short journeys. We had a memorable family break away and would come back.

Beautiful home for two families with young children

We were two families with three children under 5. The house was absolutely lovely and had everything we needed for a short break, including plenty of crockery and utensils for cooking a large breakfast and evening meal for 8. The chidren’s play room was a fantastic bonus and had plenty of things to keep the kids entertained. The location is absolutely brilliant. So close to the lovely beach, restaurants and station too. Having a space to park the car was also really handy and allowed us to drive to Margate, Botany Bay and Ramsgate. The owner really has thought of everything! We would definitely like to stay again in the future.

Fabulous home, perfect location!!!

Me and my brother stayed for three nights in this fabulous house! I love the fact it has a drive so no fighting for a parking space or paying extortionate parking prices. I have a Q7 and it fit ok it just poked over the drive a little but it is a big car! The house had absolutely everything you could possibly want/need, even an outdoor area. I love all the traditional features. I love the fact it's in the heart of Broadstairs, close to shops, restaurants which we dined in every evening. I would recommend the new Greek restaurant and American Grill! Food was outstanding! The Chinese restaurant was lovely too. I would most definitely stay again!!!!! Janette the owner is speedy at answering questions, fantastic communication. Thank you again Janette!!!!!!

House is average. Very old lounge furniture and a rug that has seen better days. A split floor board in the kitchen could have been dangerous for bare feet. Good location but parking an issue, one space in front for a small car,, my son couldnt leave his there. I think the house is overpriced, we have been staying in houses in Broadstairs for a number of years and the houses have been to a much higher standard.

Fantastic short break in this amazing family friendly house!

Delightful house which is close to the beach and shops! Complete with travel cots, a high chair, toys, games, books, dressing up clothes and everything that made our stay with the family really comfortable. Will definitely go there again!
