Motorway service station stay

Nice stay on busy motorway service station. Great for an overnight stay but personnaly would not stay for any longer. Dinner options were adequate as was the breakfast.

Disappointing stay

We did not enjoy our stay here, it started with the room not being made up for 4. We found the trundle under the single and rearranged furniture to get it out by there was no duvet. We called reception but no answer. We went down to reception and they gave us a quite stained single duvet. There was no cover. We requested a cover and were handed a double cover. No apology was given. The condition of the room was poor, e.g. controls on the shower falling off, stains on the walls.

The first room we were allocated had used towels hung up. Moved. Rooms and communal areas had stained carpet, dusty. Toilet seat wasn’t white, peeling ceiling. Needs upgrading. Expensive for what you get.

Great Staff shame about Hotel

Staff at this hotel were excellent. Reception and restaurant also very presentable. Room was in much need of refurbishment, including things like windows. A very old, tired hotel and at £150+ including breakfast I will not choose to stay again

Charge an additional £5 on site to park your car. When we arrived at 9 pm, there were no parking spaces available and you had to park in a lorry Bay in the truckstop.
