I received a warm welcome when I arrived. The room was cold, but clean though not in the best of conditons. Broken toilet seat, cracked sink and when I lifted the tap in the bathroom it was a bit grimy. There was a lot of road noise as the hotel is located on the main road circular for the city centre. The lifts drove me crazy too. My rom was on the 9th floor and had to wait 6 mins to get a lift down this morning to leave.

Worst night sleep. The walls are very thin. Kept awake by next door playing music until 4 am. Despite phoning reception to complain. Perhaps ask when you check in to have a room away from other guests if possible. Staff were polite and hotel is very convenient to downtown Bristol.

Well located hotel. Rooms are fairly modern in and clean. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately we had a broken heater and it took 3 calls to sort fully. Small portsble heater eventually provided was noisy and still left us rather chilly - coupled with hard beds defo not up there for to comfort. Good pillows though. Twice we fancied beverages from the bar and terrace but they were shut or not staffed which was a shame as these areas looked appealing. OK room rate which i thought jncluded breakfast but turns out it didn't. So can't comment on food or drink

Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expected standards for the following reasons: Firstly, the bathroom extractor fan in Room 224 was not working, resulting in poor ventilation and discomfort during my stay. Secondly, the room heater produced an extremely loud noise when operating, which significantly disturbed my rest during the night. In addition, I was not informed prior to or during my stay about the availability of the discounted NCP parking rate of £17 per night. I only received the reminder email regarding this discounted rate on 6 January 2026, two days after I had already checked out. As a result, I had to pay the full parking rate of £28 for that night, which I would have avoided had the information been communicated in a timely manner.
