Strictly speaking the Leonardo/Jurys Inn remains my favorite hotel chain - they really have no rivals when it comes to spacious comfortable rooms with all the facilities you want.
But this time not everything went well. Problem one - a bout of indigestion for the rest of the day I blame on the breakfast which had the now-fashionable suspiciously-flavourless scrambled eggs and yoghurt. Problem two - they'd blocked the alarm function on the television (which is not an optional extra but a basic essential which people expect, and rely on).
We got there a couple hours early and tried to check in right away. They didn't have our room available until the 3PM check in time. Which is understandable but it ended up being a little bit of an inconvenience.
It is located right next to the Train station. That was a big plus.
