The county town of Dorchester sits just twelve miles away, and offers plenty of activities with its shops and cinemas, Roman Town House, Iron Age hill fort, museums and National Trust owned Thomas Hardy's Max Gate and Cottage, and there is so much to do on the coast and in the countryside you will be sure to return.
