Great property and staff. The amenities were excellent. The marina is a bonus. The restaurant and pub are fantastic. The staff members are friendly and accommodating. Jodi at the front desk gave us an early check in. She also recommended places we could visit as well as great restaurants in the area.

Overall good stay! Welcomed with champagne which was really kind! The property looks a bit different than the photos. Originally thought that there would be a nicer view. We were given a second floor room and it was nice — loved the jazzucii and the washroom was nice. The bed was slightly uncomfortable (mattress seemed out dated). Nice balcony. Some restaurants nearby that you can walk to. They also had a small rocky beach nearby which was peaceful. Quiet area.

Beautiful setting and views. Fine dining or pub food and room service. The room was large with a fireplace and balcony with table and chairs, huge TV. Separate tub and shower. Floor to ceiling windows with dark see-through shades. Quiet and peaceful. Literally a block to the Mill Bay ferry. Very nice. Will stay again.

This was an absolutely wonderful stay. Staff were amazing. Service fantastic. Restaurant and pub top notch. Access to Mill Bay ferry right outside the facility. Large rooms and balconies looking over the harbour and ferry terminal. Can’t say enough good things about it. Shout out to the front desk staff, housekeeping, Katie in the pub and Adrian, sommelier in Artubus. We’ll definitely be back!!! Awesome!

Very comfy bed and linens , spacious room and incredible view and refreshing pool and hot tub. We had an upsetting experience in the dining room where we were denied a seat on the patio (told no reservations on patio) yet another couple were seated at the tables asked for. The manager explained that it was an oversight by a new staff member and asked us to wait at at the bar for 10 mins and then seated us next to the ‘preferred couple’ on the patio. They also extended a family & friends discount but it was our 25th anniversary and it had upset us very much. Not sure there was much they could do to make us happy after being treated in this manner. In every other way this resort was lovely.

Everything was wonderful & great location. I was under the understanding that it was a +19 hotel yet there was children in the pool & hot tub during my stay, not sure how strict they are on this

Relaxing enjoyable stay

Loved our 2 night stay for our 35th Anniversary. We stayed in a suite with a private outdoor hot tub. The inside also has a 2 person tub which we did not use. The hotels pub is busy but excellent. The restaurant in the hotel was also very good. The view in The restaurant is amazing. The staff are very attentive. We especially enjoyed the large yogurt/granola and fruit bowl for breakfast. I enjoyed the sablefish for dinner and my husband enjoyed the recommended meat dish. We explored the nearby beaches and went for A 2 hour kayak adventure into Tod inlet at the nearby Pacifica paddle.

We had an amazing and relaxing experience here! Would definitely recommend checking in a bit early and heading to the pool to relax with a drink. The pub had great food and drinks. The cob salad was delicious!

We stayed for 2 evenings to celebrate our anniversary. We arrived to a hand written card and a box of chocolates which was an amazing surprise going the extra mile. Room was immaculate cleanliness wise, extremely comfortable bed with the best pillows. Great view of the bay and a TV offered every streaming service (requiring your login obviously), but was great to see an updated entertainment option in the room. Would have been nice for room service to be available a bit later in the evening; even if it was a limited menu with easier items. The resort is close enough to town to get food later in the evening, but it would be nice to order a burger & fries at 10pm on a Friday night instead of having to drive elsewhere. We called the front desk for a noise complaint on the Thursday evening, but nothing changed and it continued until almost 3am in the hot tub suite beside us. You could hear music bumping thru the wall and unfortunately made our first night’s stay less than ideal. Breakfast was exceptional and dinner at the Arbutus Room was quite enjoyable as well. Lunch at the pub was as expected, no complaints, but the weakest of the 3 meal times of the day. Food was served hot and it was busy so that was a plus. Outdoor pool/hot tub area was spotless. Spa services were reasonably priced and service providers were very friendly. Spa rooms were cozy and quiet. We did 2hrs each of couple’s treatments and were very happy with the spa. Would stay at the resort again.
