Open the gates and wander out into 33 acres of privately-owned farmland. There you can explore the fantastic Afon Crai, the main tributary to the Usk. Help yourself to some private fishing or simply explore the unspoiled beauty of some very tranquil hay meadows complete with river frontage or relax in the large private hot tub. Perfect for a family day outdoors.

With echoes of a quieter, simpler time, the farmhouse kitchen table remains integral to the farming family. It is often the focal point of family decision making and a place where visitors feel welcome and at ease. We have strived to recreate this very atmosphere at Onnen Fawr Farmhouse. Complete with a traditional farmhouse AGA and large dining table, our spacious kitchen is perfect for cooking a family meal.

This farmhouse is pet-friendly.
The farmhouse can comfortably sleep up to eight guests within its four spacious double rooms. Each room has its own unique take on the country farmhouse theme, striking the perfect balance between classic styles and comfortable modern living. Warm, cosy and inviting, our rooms are ideal for your family stay.

Ground Floor is made up of a traditional farmhouse kitchen and large dining table. Fully equipped kitchen and table and chairs to seat 8 comfortably. The open plan newly renovated lounge includes a wood burning stove within traditional feature fireplace. With plenty of space, there is room for a children's area as well as for adults to escape to and enjoy some relaxation.

There is also a utility room with sink and downstairs WC.

Upstairs you will find four sizeable bedrooms. Bedroom 1 & 2 has a King size bed and en-suite. Bedroom 3 has a double bed, and bedroom 4 has 2 singles that can be made up to a double.

There is a master bathroom with bath with separate shower unit, sink and WC.

Outside you will find an open air hot tub, private rear garden area with patio and lawn areas, built in charcoal BBQ. Many further acres of the farm can be explored and include fishing rights on the River Crai.

Up to two dogs are welcomed here, with plenty of walks from the doorstep, it's the perfect place to bring along your four-legged companion.
The hot tub is available for private use and is the perfect end to an adventurous or casual day out exploring the Brecon Beacons. Children under the age of 16 years and pregnant ladies are not permitted to use the hot tub. Please refer to the safety guidelines available in the house before using the facilities if you are unsure. Please note that we empty, clean and refill all hot tubs after every stay, therefore your hot tub may take up to 12 hours to reach the required temperature.​
Can be booked with the 2 cottages Ash Tree Cottage and Sycamore Tree Barn to sleep 25 in total.
A cot and highchair are available for guest use in this property. Please bring your own cot blankets as these are not provided as standard.
