Lake Expectations is centrally located to all your favorite Branson spots, within steps of the Lake Taneycomo shoreline, and promises gorgeous balcony views of the Ozark Hills. The condo is part of the Pointe Royale Resort featuring numerous amenities (listed below).


LAKE EXPECTATIONS CONDO: Sleeps 10 adults containing 2100 square feet, 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, plus a loft with additional beds. 7 beds in all. 


FRONT BEDROOM: Queen bed - A full bathroom is located just off the front bedroom. 

MASTER BEDROOM: King bed - Master bedroom has it's own private bathroom and private access to the balcony with great views of the Ozark hills rising above Lake Taneycomo.

UPSTAIRS BEDROOM: King bed (with sofa pullout twin bed) - Upstairs bedroom has its own portable A/C unit. 

THE LOFT: Three twin beds. The loft and upstairs bedroom have it's own full bathroom. The loft is open without closed doors.

3 FULL BATHROOMS: 2 downstairs including one located in the master bedroom and a full bathroom upstairs.

  • Pool towels can be found in the front closet. But please wash and dry them before departing.
  • Full size washer and dryer is located next to the front bedroom. Detergent and fabric softener are in the cabinet above the units.
  • ROKU TVs are located in each bedroom and the living room. Cable is available with the living room TV.
  • Board games, cards, puzzles, etc. can be found in the storage bench under the stairs, by the dining room table. 
  • The kitchen comes stocked with all the cookware, dishes, utensils needed to cook/prepare your own meals.
  • Modern Electric Fireplace with heater.
  • Very fast Wifi (250+Mbps download and 50+Mbsp upload speeds)



What you need to know:
  • No pets or animals of any kind allowed. Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind inside the unit, on the balcony, or on the front porch.
  • This is a second story condo with 16 steps up to the entrance. There is no elevator.
  • Check-In after 4pm, Check-out by 10am.

The unit had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. They provide extra pillows, blankets, pack n play, fans(if needed), games, laundry pods, etc. The location was perfect with 4 children as we walked to the river and then the hiking trail. The children loved the hiking trail and sticks provided on the trail. The boys used the pickleball court(even though the weather turned freezing) and we used the indoor pool a couple of times. My only suggestion would be that pool towels be provided in the unit. If you are traveling that is not something we would bring and using the regular towels at the pool didn’t provide enough for showers. We were more than happy staying in this location and unit and would certainly return.

Pretty clean for a vacation rental, the coffee bar was cute, nice spacious bedrooms. Quick and clear communication with host. Only thing was the fold out couch in the upstairs bedroom is opposite a dresser so you can’t actually unfold it out to a bed but there was a floor mattress we used. Overall very thoughtfully designed and good value for money. The resort facilities were great, big indoor heated pool so we could swim even in October. The hot tub (outside, right next to indoor pool) was large so even us and two other groups didn’t feel too crowded. The restaurant on site was okay food but very nice to not have to drive into town for dinner

Wonderful place

We enjoyed our time at Lake Expectations and had plenty of room. We enjoyed the area too, the hiking trail was great. The kids enjoyed the playground. Easy to check in and access the property. It’s quiet and cannot hear your neighbors at all.

Nice, but not a true 4 bedroom house

Very clean, well decorated, but it's 3 bedrooms with a semi-private loft area that has beds vs a true 4th "bedroom". The loft room has the three twin beds in it. But it's an open space with no true privacy. You can't have the downstairs lights on or tv on without bothering the people staying in the loft room. Other than that the property grounds are well kept and the communication from the owner was great.

Good location with nice amenities. Owner is kind and extremely responsive. Could be due to off season but building over all was unkept and dirty.
