Pay a little more to stay somewhere much better.

I feel like we were duped by the other reviews. This hotel is extremely dated and not in good condition. We booked 4 rooms for our group and the parking lot was un-driveable for 2 of our cars because they don’t plow even though it hasn’t snowed recently. Most of our beds were terrible, one was even very broken. We had to stay 4 nights as we pre-paid but we will not be back. Some of the rooms had extremely old worn carpet, others had plank flooring that wasn’t swept. The breakfast is extremely limited, nothing gluten free other than boiled eggs (no fruit or yogurt or even Chex cereal). The waffle maker was out of order our first day. You are not allowed to eat breakfast in your room. The pool was the most decent part but the area is also used for storage.

What ever happened to having your room cleaned and fresh towels? Don’t enjoy having to dodge people sleeping in the corridors by the exits. Just disappointed in my entire stay. I’ve stayed at the Colonial for years and I don’t know if I will be back
