Holiday, made perfect from staying at Gite St Loup and being in Burgundy.

An outstanding house with all the comfort and mod cons we needed for a relaxing holiday in Burgundy. The stylish property was extremely clean and well equipped in a quiet and beautiful location of the village of Boyer. Many of the faculties like the dish washer, washing machine, cooker etc were all new and we. had access to 3 showers and 3 toilets! Jacques, the host, and his family were warm and inviting and made us feel very welcome. They spoilt us with home made apple juice, cake and home grown vegetables. The location is fantastic and we were able to enjoy very easily the lovely historic towns of Tournus, Dijon, Cluny, Brancion and Autun. Furthermore some stunning walks are on the doorstep of the Gite which enabled us to really appreciate the Burgundy countryside. Fantastic house, host and location. Would totally recommend the place. (The beds were really comfortable too!)

Perfect!

This is by far the best gite I have ever stayed at. The accommodation was superb, spotlessly clean, very well appointed and huge! The beds are very comfortable! The owners were so welcoming and made us feel really special. Fresh peaches and figs from the garden were out of this world. There was also sunloungers and a bbq available for us to use. The local area is beautiful, vinyards galore and Tournus is a lovely town to walk around. We also visted Geneva and Chamonix although a good drive away, well worth it. All in all a wonderful holiday. Sehr schöner Aufenthalt bei exzellentem Wetter.Freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter.Bestens ausgestattes Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern, 3 BĂ€dern und 3 WC. Alle RĂ€ume gut beheizt durch eine WĂ€rmepumpe. Von Außen weniger ansprechend, aber innen top!Idealer Ort zur Erkundung des Burgund und/oder zum Relaxen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Vacances en famille aout 24

Nous avons sĂ©journĂ© 2 semaines, aout 2024 au gite St Loup. Nous sommes venus Ă  quatre, de 8 Ă  70 ans. Le gite en lui mĂȘme est spacieux, calme, bien Ă©quipĂ©. L'environnement est Ă  l'image du gite, trĂšs agrĂ©able (bonus pour le petit canal). Les propriĂ©taires du gite, qui sont les voisins, sont prĂ©sent quand il faut et trĂšs discret le reste du temps. Ils sont accueillant et font leur possible pour rendre notre sĂ©jour le plus agrĂ©able possible. Nous avons mĂȘme eu la chance d'avoir des douceurs cuisinĂ©es par madame, le rĂȘve ! Le jardin est parfaitement entretenu, il y a un babyfoot et une table de pingpong dans le garage, de quoi passer de super moments ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen

Wir waren als drei Freunde im Juni 2024 in der Gite St. Loup um in der Region Radtouren zu unternehmen. Die Gastgeber, Ehepaar Mitou und Jacques BourgĂšs sind außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr groß und vollstĂ€ndig eingerichtet. Das Auto konnten wir mit den RĂ€dern auf dem Dach (!) in die dazugehörige Scheune fahren und, da es bei der Ankunft gerade regnete, "trocken" entladen. Der zum Haus gehörende Garten ist sehr groß und lĂ€dt zum abendlichen Verweilen ein. Als Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr die von uns geplanten Radtouren ist das Haus ideal. Alles sehr ruhig gelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (BĂ€cker, Supermarkt) gibt es in dem nahe gelegenen Tournus ausreichend. Wir bedanken uns fĂŒr die schöne Zeit und wĂŒnschen dem Ehepaar BourgĂšs fĂŒr die Zukunft alles Gute.

Angenehmer Urlaub im Burgund

Als wir ankamen wurden wir sehr freundlich vom Hausherrn Jacques Bourges empfangen. Das Haus war sehr sauber und im KĂŒhlschrank fanden wir eine Flasche Cremant und eine Flasche Apfelsaft. Am Sonntag wurden wir mit, von Frau Bourges selbst gebackenen KĂ€sewindbeuteln, verwöhnt. Jeden Morgen bekamen wir frisches Baguette, das wir am Vortag ĂŒber den Hausherrn bestellt haben. Das Haus ist von einem wunderschönen großen Garten umgeben. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist hervorragend. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Schlafzimmer sind gerĂ€umig und zu jedem Zimmer gehört ein Bad mit Toilette. Wir können dieses Haus sehr empfehlen.

Gastvrije eigenaren, grote tuin waar we heerlijk konden genieten. Eindschoonmaak en gasverbruik moesten we bij vertrek nog ter plekke cash voldoen. Dat is wel iets om rekening mee te houden

Perfect Autumn Holiday with Family

We took advantage of the good situation of the house to explore the beautiful surrounding by foot and see all the culturally rich landmarks in the vicinity. The children loved the garden and the nearby brooks to play at. The whole setting of this place is even more picturesque than you can see from the photos. What's more, the owners of the place are the most friendly people you can imagine.

Ein viel zu kurzer Urlaub in einer Superunterkunft!

Wir wĂ€ren wirklich gerne lĂ€nger geblieben! Die Ankunft war herzlich und persönlich, uns erwarteten lokale SpezialitĂ€ten und auch zwischendurch bekamen wir kleine Leckereien. Jacques fragte jeden Tag nach unserem Befinden und war auf eine unaufdringliche Art und Weise immer prĂ€sent bei Fragen. Die Kinder (2, 5 und 12) waren begeistert vom Spielangebot (viel Spielzeug im Haus fĂŒr die Kleinen, eine Tischtennisplatte in der Scheune erfreute den Großen. Ein Spielhaus im Garten, ein Trettrecker etc., alles war da. Der Garten selbst ist sehr groß, jedoch wegen eines Baches und eines Brunnens nicht so kindersicher, dass kleine Kinder alleine dort spielen könnten. Aber im Urlaub hat man ja Zeit fĂŒr die Kinder! Im Haus war alles großzĂŒgig ausgestattet mit sehr guten technischen GerĂ€ten, viel Platz, geschmackvollen Möbeln und sehr bequemen Betten - mit französischer Bettdecke, BettwĂ€sche und HandtĂŒcher wurden gestellt, was in einem vollen Auto von großem Vorteil ist. Die Gegend ist kulturell und kulinarisch sooooo interessant, dass eine Woche niemals ausreicht! Weinberge, Klöster, Burgen, romanische Kirchen wohin das Auge reicht. Die Unterkunft ist fĂŒr große Familien wie auch 3 Paare (3 separate BĂ€der) super geeignet und auch verkehrsgĂŒnstig gelegen. Die Autobahn verlĂ€uft in der NĂ€he, ist aber aus dem Haus und Garten nicht sichtbar, bei Wind aus der Richtung jedoch zu hören. Ich bin diesbezĂŒglich sehr empfindlich, mich hat das aber gar nicht gestört! Im Dorf selbst sind nur WohnhĂ€user, Schule/ Rathaus und eine Kirche, aber das traumhafte Tournus ist nur einen Katzensprung entfernt und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es ĂŒberall genug. Derjenige, der sich in den Bewertungen beschwert hat, dass es keinen BĂ€cker fĂŒr die morgendlichen Brötchen gibt, hat erstens nicht beachtet, dass es morgens in Frankreich meistens sowieso keine Brötchen gibt ;-) und hat zweitens nicht den tollen Baguette-Service genutzt, den auch die Einheimischen zu schĂ€tzen wissen: Abends wird ein Schild mit der Anzahl der gewĂŒnschten Baguettes an die Pforte gehĂ€ngt und morgens hat der BĂ€cker bis 8 Uhr die frischen authentischen Baguettes in den eigens dafĂŒr vorgesehenen und bestickten Stoffbeutel deponiert. Abgerechnet wird am Ende (zusammen mit der Heizung und eventueller Endreinigung) mit Jacques. Uns fehlte nichts - außer noch mehr Zeit! Ein herzliches Dankeschön fĂŒr die erholsame Woche!

Nous avons été ravis de passer une petite semaine chez Jacques et Mitou, une maison encore mieux que sur les photos, un grand espace vert et de nombreux jouets pour les enfants, c'est trÚs bien équipé également pour la cuisine et le reste. Conforme Ă  l’annonce , propriĂ©taires charmants et trĂšs serviables, les petites attentions de bienvenue ont Ă©tĂ© trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ©es. En ces temps de couvre-feu la surface du gĂźte est un vrai atout car nous y passons plus de temps , chaque enfant a trouvĂ© sa place et nous avons pu profiter d’un sĂ©jour au calme .

TrÚs bon sejour dans une propriété propre et calme. Les volumes sont grands, on s'y sent tout de suite à l'aise. Des jeux enfants sont disponibles, ainsi que tout les ustensils necessaires pour cuisiner. Le jardin est trÚs agréable et bien entretenu. Propriétaires attentionnés, nous reviendrons.

SĂ©jour magnifique dans un superbe gĂźte

Expérience absolument parfaite avec des propriétaires d'une gentillesse rare, un hébergement parfait y compris pour les jeunes enfants, un logement intégralement équipé comme à son propre domicile, un jardin grand et parfaitement entretenu, et une trÚs jolie région avec plein de découvertes pour tous les ùges à faire. Bref un séjour parfait, nous avons hùte de revenir. Ce ne fût que du bonheur !
