As it was a very nice place,I cannot give this a good review,because I specifically asked for a room on the 1st floor,because of my wife being disabled,I talked to the lady at the front desk and was changed from a upstairs room to the first floor,I was told there would be no extra charge,but noticed a charge of $87 or so on my debit card,at checkout I confronted the man at the front desk and after he talked to his manager was told the charge would be refunded to me,that hasn’t happened yet and until that does,I can say I’m very disappointed and will not be staying at the Sleep Inn in Cave City Ky ever again.

Amenities misleading - proceed with caution

Despite what the listing shows they do not have a "Gym". They have a room with a treadmill, bike and elliptical. That is, it. No weights or weight machines so unless you only want to do cardio I'd look at other hotels. Their breakfast also does not include ANY protein. Just waffles, dry cereal, and yogurt. Zero Greek yogurt, eggs or meat. For the price point go to another hotel where they give you protein and have an actual gym.

The beds were comfortable but the comforters were dirty and disgusting. They really need to wash them, they were all stained up. Also their pool that they advertise is a joke. Maybe a little bigger than a hot tub. Their breakfast had very little choices, either waffles or cold cereal. Also they had the only elevators out of order one morning. I’m glad it wasn’t the day we had to check out. Overall it was worth the money.

Day Manager doesn't care for her guests

Unfortunately housekeeping knocked on the door just before 9:00am waking me on the first sleep in day I had in a while...checkout was 11:00am. I normally put the do not disturb on the door upon entry...there wasn't one available. Hospitality of the desk person at check in around 10:00 was great. The day manager definitely did not put her guest first. Will stay next door at the Baymont if I find myself in need of a last minute hotel in Cave City.

Reasonable and nice place

This was a nice place and reasonably priced. We usually do Marriott hotels and the room was comparable and a better price. The breakfast was very basic but we headed out pretty early.

Out of all hotels I have stayed in the last few months this was the cleanest and that’s so important. The staff was very friendly and polite. I will definitely go back if I get the chance. There was a storm with hail and tornados in the area at the time of my stay and I felt very safe.
