Roach infestation!

First off, upon arrival, there was a guy smoking weed right outside the entrance door. That should have been a sign to immediately cancel my stay. Then as we walked inside the room you could smell like the room was damp from the AC condensation. Second sign to have left immediately. But we stayed since we had driven 8 hours and were exhausted. Finally it was 5:50 am when a roach crawling on my face woke me up. That was strike 3 and we packed our things and left the premises. The receptionist told me they didnt provide incident report sheets so Im just going to wait and take a different approach to this situation.

Pleasant stay

We had an overnight stay. The lobby area and dining area were very clean. The person on duty during our late check in was very friendly and helpful. The elevator was a little banged up, needs updating. The hallway and room carpets need updating, probably replace with like the fake wood, make it look cleaner. Room was nice, beds were comfy. Had everything you needed in the bathroom, although it needs to be equipped with a vent&switch so the mirror doesn't get fogged up after a shower. Very quiet evening.

Clean hotel, but the area is so run down and no places to eat only fast food. We have used this hotel for overnight stay every year, but the area is so run down that we will stay somewhere else next time

Amazing staff.

This was my first time taking my granddaughter with me. When checking in, she mentioned she was thirsty, so i was just looking about for a water stand, and the lady checking me in promptly handed over a bottle of water, mentioning that it was her own, but she was about to go home. So not only was she nice, she was nice to a little girl, AT THE END OF HER SHIFT, on a busy Friday late. We had just driven to texas from Illinois, so we're tired and grumpy ourselves, but this kind gesture made our end of trip amazing. I wish i had gotten her name, but she deserves some recognition.
