The Cottage is a safe space open to everyone.Self check-in, private garden area with outdoor furniture (& table-tennis). River/pubs within 1 mile walk. Galleried bedroom, Superking bed, laptop friendly desk/dressing table (room for travel cot). Ground floor large sofabed. Wifi & SmartTV. Kitchen area with oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer. Dining table for 4. Free parking on large forecourt shared with main house. Quiet location, trees and birdsong. Animal friendly.
The space
The Cottage is modern, light and spacious. The bedroom has a huge, comfortable bed with luxurious 600 thread sateen cotton bed linen. There is room for a travel cot or toddler blow-up bed. The extendable antique wooden table makes a perfect study area, or dressing table area, next to a full length mirror (and hairdryer). There is plenty of drawer and hanging space, plus a full-length closet downstairs, with iron and ironing board. The kitchen area is fully equipped to cater from breakfast and snacks to home-cooked meals. To the side of The Cottage is a sunny garden area with BBQ and outside table and chairs and reclining chairs for your exclusive use, and to the rear is a small copse then fields. Our 3 friendly dogs (2 labradors and a shihtzu) play in the grounds and will give you a warm welcome!

The whole cottage is yours. There is shared parking to the front. To the side of The Cottage is a garden area for your exclusive use. (Note, it is not totally enclosed).

The surroundings were wonderful and the cottage was very comfortable and clean. Our only complaint is that a hot tub was advertised but was non existent which was a huge misrepresentation by Vrbo on the property details. It was one of the considerations when we booked the property We have requested an explanation from Vrbo but so far nothing is forthcoming (22.5.24)

Such a warm, welcoming home from home property. Beautiful tucked away location with a private garden. Fabulous attention to detail, everything you need for a short stay. Katy was a great host, always quick to communicate and make me feel so welcome. Would highly recommend such perfect accommodation.

Great cottage, very well thought out for those staying, all amenities in the cottage, cosey, quiet, perfect location to local amenities and great friendly hosts. Will definitely go back and look forward to going back. Beautiful area and perfect for a dog if you are taking your dog, owners dogs very friendly, local pubs close by.
