The manager greeted us in the street on our motorbikes and took us to the secure garage parking which was very welcome

We had a friendly greeting on arrival and our room was very clean and the bed comfortable with crisp white bedding. Nice modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. The hotel is ideally located for visiting the town and one of the main squares is outside the building. Unfortunately, despite the windows being triple glazed, the noise from outside was loud. We would have enjoyed dinner at the hotel but the restaurant was closed that evening.

A night in Rodez

The location was amazing. We had a view of the cathedral right from our room. The main part of town was very walkable from our hotel. It was filled with great restaurants.

Central and friendly

We'd arranged to spend two nights in Rodez after a week in the Lot, more to fit in with flights than anything, but were very glad we had. It's a great little city with lots to see. Hotel is in a great location, minutes from the (stupendous) cathedral and amazing Musee Soulages. Staff were very friendly and helpful; buffet breakfast good, and excellent food in the restaurant.

Very central

We had a one night stopover here. It was fine for that purpose. It is right in the centre so parking can be a bit tricky (there is a small car park - you have to book) but the hotel staff were very helpful. Room was clean, including bathroom. We had a nice view of the cathedral from our window but I think that only applies to about three rooms in the hotel! Breakfast was decent.

Perfect location, cheap and cheerful hotel

Ideal position in town centre, a friendly hotel but don't expect the Ritz! The staff couldn't do enough for us. On arrival our reservation had not been received. They were pretty full, but managed to rearrange rooms and found us a double. As we were only staying for one night and would be out for most of the day, this was the perfect location. We used the parking which was down the side of the hotel at the back and there was a separate entrance from there so you didn't have to walk round the front again. The room was simple and very clean. We had the buffet breakfast and they very kindly went out to get more (fresh) croissants as they had run out - we were the last to go down I suspect. Good selection of hot/cold drinks and really good coffee (in a large cup). There was more than enough food to choose from. I can't stress enough how nice the staff were - definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Agréable séjour pour découvrir Rodez

Charmant hôtel au coeur de Rodez. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à l’hôtel du Midi, très bien situé face à la cathédrale, en bordure du centre historique et en même temps très calme. Très bon accueil et service impeccable. Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien équipées et dotées d’une bonne literie. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, varié et composé de produits de qualité. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cet établissement.
