We checked in and went to our room. The door didnt shut and had a chain for a lock, huge gaps around the door. The toilet didn't flush, lights didn't work, no plug- in for phone, TV didn't work, the heater made an awful noise that sounded like it was going to explode. I went and complained to front desk and they moved us the next morning. This room was not much better, the toilet did work, however no plug-ins, still the issue. We never got any house keeping the entire week we stayed. I trusted the reviews on hotel.com saying it was a 4.7 that was a lie. Its more like a 1.7. Came back to the hotel one night and had bugs crawling on the floor and 1 on my bed due to the gaps in the front door. But not much I could do, I had already paid for the room through hotel.com. If I hadn't I would have left the 1st night. Worst hotel ever. The staff was friendly enough. But not enough to make up for the hotel.

Nice place

This is in a nice quiet neighborhood. A little outdated but the room we had was really big, clean, large closet, eating area. Bed was comfortable but no smart TV. We spent more time in our room than normal due to the weather, otherwise no big deal. Front desk staff was very helpful and polite. Breakfast was a typical free breakfast at most places. Not a complaint but any means. I would stay again.

My husband and I came to Boston for the Red Sox home opener. The property is an older mom & pop hotel. The facade of the hotel was a little out dated. Keith was behind the desk when we checked in. He was very charming and knowledgeable about the area and to our surprise, upgraded us from a ling room to a suite. The room was cozy and very clean. Only complaint about it was water pressure while showering but, I've encountered that issue staying in newer hotels so it wasn't a huge issue. The hotel was located by a bus route and a 6 minute walk from the Washington St T station so it made getting around Boston pretty easy. I would recommend this hotel.

Wierd entrance & difficult to find Front Desk. More a motel than a hotel. Very down market. Clean affordable stay for folks who like fly Spirit Airlines but not for anyone else. Service is excellent but quality of room & motel look & feel is problematic. Expedia should know better than to label it a hotel.

Washroom was not good. Shower was giving trouble. Even toilet seat was kind of broken it was hard staying with kids. And you have to get your own washroom supplies as they only provide some stuff.
