The room was spacious, clean, and luxurious, all for a fair price. The check in process was simple and staff were able to accommodate our early check-in needs. We loved the "speakeasy" bar and décor of the inn. Loved that we were able to stay in a homey setting with friends and family. Would definitely recommend for families/groups that will be booking multiple rooms!

Biggest issue was never being able to get someone to personally check us in or out. We were supposed to have a 2 Bedroom Suite situation with a full kitchen. They gave us 2 rooms next to each other with no kitchen. It was only a communal area for all rooms around us also. They were still cleaning our rooms at 4pm which seemed ridiculous since checkout was at 11am and they have literally less than 10 rooms in the entire building. Not a nice vibe when we came in just before check in. Seemed the Manager was not wanting to deal with us and other employees had a stressed vibe about them. Event in the Basement area went on late and we could hear music all the way up to the 2nd floor. People were out in the yard of the Inn screaming and cussing and drunk it seemed at 3am! None of my family got any sleep to say the least!

This hotel was a perfect first stay on a multi- leg trip. We had a lovely light filled room on the 2nd floor. We also had the best fish I’ve tasted in years at the restaurant downstairs. Delish! Our only non-5 star experience was with the lady who was supposed to be checking in guests. She sat at one of the tables in the main floor where you enter with her back to us on the phone for > 10 minutes. We stood there wondering if she was a guest. We literally waited until a guest walked through and pointed out that she was the one supposed to check us in. That’s the only unpleasant snafu during this stay. Perhaps next time we visit, there will be someone at the entrance who will greet the guests.
