1. We arrived a little earlier, at 2 pm, as we drove 5 hours; as per Expedia, it showed me check-in at 3 pm, but Vrbo showed up at 4 pm. I asked Camar if I could grab lunch and check in early at 3 pm because that is what the trip itinerary showed me. He said no and that he was cleaning and to come at 4 pm. That’s understandable, but we had to roam for 2 hours in cold weather. The room was on the third floor; we found it a bit difficult walking up the stairs with all our bags and luggage (especially with all the photo frames by the wall). It is a small attic room with a single light. The window had no curtain to it.
2. The wash basin in the bathroom had no water flow. When we asked him - he said there’s a water problem and use the kitchen sink. We found it EXTREMELY weird to brush our teeth at the kitchen sink with vessels and utensils in it. That was not cool at all. Also, there is no drinking water. The least Camar could do was at least communicate properly.
3. We chose this place considering it has parking as one of the amenities - when we arrived, we asked him about it. He wasn't helpful with parking instructions. Cars absolutely need a parking permit, or else they get towed. We were worried about that and kept asking him how we deal with this cause we didn't have a parking permit. After a couple of minutes, he said he might have one and gave it to us, but we had to return it the next day.
Overall, I think Camar can do better with communication & services.
