Nice room, friendly front desk staff, and clean establishment. My safe didn’t work and that was inconvenient as I had to carry my valuables around. This was Thanksgiving weekend so staff was not in full force. Everything else was fine. I would stay here again.

The Freepoint Hotel Boston provided comfortable surroundings for our family during Tufts Parents Weekend. The location is convenient, with plenty of shops and cafés nearby — we grabbed breakfast at Starbucks next door. The lobby, however, had a very strong disinfectant smell which wasn’t the most welcoming first impression. A softer, more sophisticated scent would go a long way. That said, the hotel’s open common area was a real highlight — spacious, modern, and perfect for working or relaxing. My kids and I spent most of the day there working and really appreciated it. The rooms are a little tired but adequate. My main frustration was the pricing — over $400 a night felt excessive for the standard and amenities offered. Price surges like that make it less likely we’d return. On the positive side, the staff were excellent — friendly, helpful, and even printed out some papers for us, which we truly appreciated.

This hotel does not look like the photos online. It is in a loud neighborhood on a major road surrounded by strip malls. No visible green space near it. Only restaurants within close walking distance are fast food. The restaurant inside is not really open, and the breakfast looked inedible besides coffee, cereal and apples. Three police officers were dealing with an altercation in lobby when I left. One good thing - the bed was firm and comfortable!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE BREAKFAST !! TERRIBLE. The bed was comfy, bathroon fixtures new and modern, toiletries good quality. Liked the table in the room. VERY ANNOYING that they left 2 bottles of water in the room for $3. each REALLY?? NO DECAF COFFEE - at all even for breakfast! FOOD was COLD terrible quality and no cutlery or real plates for $17.95 very sad!
