Where to begin! We arrived to the front desk clerk on the phone with corporate billing and did not even acknowledge us for atleast 2-3 minutes. Then she stated it would be a few minutes. We waited approximately 15 minutes before she checked us in. She could had put corporate on hold and checked us in as ut only took 1minute to do so. While we waited I asked if there was a restroom to use, after our 4 hr. drive, she just threw up her hand and pointed in a direction behind her. I walked thru the lobby looking aimlessly for a restroom. To my surprise another guest told me where it was because there was no bathroom sign on the door. Once we finally got checked in, we went to our room and to our surprise, our rooms temperature was 60°f. I went to turn the heater on and the heating unit did not even work. We packed our stuff back into our bags and went back to front desk only to find a line of 3 guest waiting. Another 10 minute wait and we asked to get a room with a working heater. Clerk assinged us to another room, and to.our surprise, it was a double bed room, not a king as we reserved. But the heat worked so we accomadated. Well I wish we hadnt and just left to another hotel. The ckerk stuck us in a room directly between an active working prostitute that had several men coming and going every 30 minutes like clock work. Then in the other room beside us, there was a gentlemen dealing drugs, people coming and going every 10-15 minutes up until 2 am in the morning. ONLY 1500 WORDS

This isn’t even remotely what we were expecting. There’s a hole in the wall. The air conditioning doesn’t work. When it does work, it blows the entire curtain upwards and therefore we need to use a hair clip to secure it to the windowsill. Speaking of curtains, they don’t close all the way, so another hair clip needs to be used for that. The bathroom smells like cat pee. Pungent. The toilet doesn’t flush. The TV remote is sticky. There are hot wheels stickers plastered all over the fridge and microwave. The USB and outlets don’t work. There was dirt on some of the clean linens upon arrival. The beds make an awful creak when you move. People are entering the property at all hours and it’s LOUD. The neighborhood is sketchy with characters freely walking the parking lot. We literally parked right in front of registration for even a semblance of safety. The property is no more than a place to sleep— if that. The best thing it has going for it, is it boasts vinyl floors. At least those seem more sanitary than carpet.
We needed to use hair clips to keep the AC unit from opening the curtains.

Adequate if you just want a hot shower and a clean bed. The bed was comfortable and the heater worked well. My main problem is it says on hotel.com that this place is 4 miles from the airport. It is actually at least 11 miles from the airport. There are not a lot of creature comforts like in adequate place to hang your clothes because there were no hangers.

If you want a cheap place to lay your head this will work. The last few hooks on the curtains were falling off on the ends (we asked for someone to look at it and nobody came so we just used paperclips to at least hold it up). We asked for a second blanket and it took forever for the guy to bring it. He kept telling us “he was so busy and the only one). I even went down to the front desk to help vs him delivering it (since we were ready for bed), and got this big explanation as to he’s the only one and so busy. He has to go find it. We clearly were an inconvenience. The other staff were friendly during our interactions, but between that and our curtains we were ready to move on. But again if you don’t want fancy and are okay with a motel vs hotel vibe for decent price driving distance to Boston… this will work.

Front desk staff were very friendly but that’s about the only positive. The location was a bit dicey, the exterior was depressing, the upstairs hallway couldn’t have been worse, old filthy damp smelly carpet. The room had new laminate floors and the linens/towels smelled fresh but there were also Christmas window clings on the window (in October) and the curtains were stained.

Everything about this place was awful. The room was disgusting. Dirty sheets, dirts tub, horribly uncomfortable beds and bugs crawling around in the bathroom and the main part of the room as well. The one vending machine was broken as well as the ice machine but even if they worked I would have used them as everything in that place looks dirty and disgusting. It’s also not a hotel even though it’s advertised as one. It’s a motel / Econolodge.

Nothing special about this hotel, except the free coffee and fluffy pillows. Bathroom smelled like cigarettes, maybe coming through the vent. Aluminum steps, which I was worried about hearing people climbing since my room was near them, surprisingly I didn’t. Early morning was not quiet, hear all noise in hall. Only one front desk person. Nothing to brag about, I just needed somewhere to sleep a short distance from Salem. Many food options in the area. Hotel was affordable though.
