Married couple own the lodge. They are both very nice and helpful. They have four dogs. One dog bark's a lot. Bora Bora has lots of hungry stray homeless dogs. Perhaps they provided a home to some. Also, there are other houses next to the Lodge. People make noise. Need ear plugs. You need a car or scooter for transportation. Avis rental is at the Vaitape dock where the airport water taxi drops passengers off. Use the Avis Bora Bora website to reserve a car or scooter. The lodge is 3/4 mile from the Vaitape Dock. The closest beach is Marita Beach around 4 1/2 miles from the lodge. It's a very nice long white sand beach. But, no fresh water showers.

Expediaに掲載されている地図では、バイタペ港から徒歩2分の場所とされていますが、実際には、バイタペ港から徒歩20分程度南下した通りに面した場所にあります。 https://maps.app.goo.gl/4JjrWmedQ53wc6XA6?g_st=ic Google Mapのストリートビューの情報は古いようで、様子がかなり違います。通りに面した場所にバンガローの小さな木の看板が出ているので、目印になります。 初日は港からタクシーを使って移動したので事なきを得ました。 所在地のインフォメーションが間違っていていきなり混乱したものの、結果的にはこの場所は非常に良かかったです。 というのは、ボラボラ島は早朝から活動が始まり、夜遅くには若者が大音量の音楽をかけるので、港の近くだった場合は、騒音がかなり気になったはずだからです。バンガローのある場所は、比較的静かで、快適でした。 Wi-Fiは、回線が不安定であまり有効ではないので、eSIMなどを用意することをお勧めします。 オーナーのHinanoさんは非常にフレンドリーで、親切で、スピリチュアルな能力もあり方で、自宅がバンガローのすぐ裏手にあり、何かあった時に直ぐに連絡がとれる安心感があります。 2日分のタクシーの予約とタクシーが遅れた時の連絡もして頂けましたし、スーパーマーケットの情報も説明して頂けたので助かりました。 レンタカーも安く借りられる所を紹介して頂けるので、宿泊する場合は合わせてお願いするとよいと思います。 オーナーさんとのやりとりは、電話、Eメール（gmail）、直前自宅に伺うなどできますが、オーナーさんとしてはWhatsAppが良いようなので、事前に携帯にインストールしておくとよいと思います。 ボラボラ島にまた行く機会があれば、是非、利用したいです。
