OVERALL SUPERB! Cleanliness is top-notch, customer service is friendly, beautiful views of the mountain. The pool is lovely, bungalows are spotless and I did not use the spa, although they're a bungalow over water too.

The property was beautiful. I wish we would have had more time to explore. There were things I didn't even know existed until after we left. Was extremely unhappy with the staff upon our departure. Our flight was canceled and we were booked on another airline which I confirmed before noon. I then called the front desk to confirm what time I needed to be at the dock to head back to the airport. A few hours later, the staff came frantically looking for us to head to the dock about 90 minutes before I was told, leaving us 50 minutes to finish packing and get ready. I assured them, I knew what my departure time was at the airport and they argued with me. They said it was different and basically forced us to leave earlier than scheduled. Horrible experience with such a long flight ahead of us and no time to get ready. And of course, we sat in the unconditioned airport in bora bora for over two hours already feeling disgusting.

Everything about this resort is perfect; the villa, the location, the amenities, the views, the service, the water but above all, their staff who go above and beyond to make you feel like you’re at home. The property is beautiful and the overwater bungalows are well maintained! Breakfast buffet didn’t disappoint either - very good selection of a wide variety of items. Staff at the resort were underwhelming unfortunately in terms of service. This started with my pre-arrival communications with their concierge, which was consistently delayed and slow on Thalasso’s end. This only continued during my stay at the property. Many staff at the pool and restaurants didn’t even speak or understand fluent English. Due to their poor communication skills, they never extended to help in any capacity like providing towels, bringing water, checking in, etc. Overall pretty mixed experience. Expected much better service given how nice the property is.
