Close to Wilkesboro and about 40min from historic Boone and blowing rock. One outlet to charge your phone and electronics which is nice for an unplug getaway. It's a quiet location without traffic noise. Very pleased with the cleanliness. I was a little nervous about the porta potty situation but it was SUPER clean and I was thrilled about that. Everything was great, I would stay here again.
The kids had a blast! The oldest said, "This is one of my favorite places, I hope we come back soon!" There's everything you need for glamping...just bring ice for the cooler and food! The trails all around the property were nice to explore. The hosts were very kind people and the kids loved meeting the animals especially, Coope, the burrow. Ah, what a greata place. Thanks again.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The yurt was clean and comfortable and the hosts even brought in an extra mattress for us since there was 4 in our group. The grill, firewood, shower, and lighting around the yurt were all nice extras to have while camping. The only thing that I would have liked in an area to wash dishes.
The hosts were super kind. They brought my daughters over to the farm to bottle feed the baby goats. It was a really cool experience. We’ll definitely be back.
Property overall was very adequate.Outdoor gas shower was difficult to work as a button was missing. Bed was great.Inside could benefit from more table space to put stuff on as well as another chair. Would also suggest a small mirror. If you kept a couple of the outdoor chairs cushions inside they would stay dry until used. Because of rainy weather all of the outdoor furniture was not usable.I really loved the electric fireplace and decor. Many thanks

Booked a month in advance
We booked a yurt here, while we were to attend FaithFest. When 30 minutes out from arrival, we received an email that our yurt had been over booked and we had nowhere to stay. We could have downgraded to a primitive tent. So here we are 4 hours from home with nowhere to stay for our weekend getaway. What was supposed to be a relaxing, unplugged weekend quickly turned into a very stressful anxiety filled weekend.
First of all, we were told that we would stay in the larger tent but when we came back to actually get our things out of our cars we were told we had been moved to the smaller tent. The tents had mildew spots on them and did not smell very good. They do not offer WiFi as it states in the amenities listing and the bathroom facilities are a port a john and an outside shower with limited hot water. We felt like it was not as represented.
