Good Bologna hotel

Good hotel 20 min walk from Bologna centre. Very friendly and informative staff at the reception desk. Room nice but quite small. Restaurant lovely for evening dinner. Breakfast was expensive for what it was. We arrived 20 mins before the end of breakfast service and were being rushed with the leftovers. Parking was easy for a €16 fee.

Great hotel

one night stay as part of a roadtrip. Pleasantly surprised with the hotel as slightly away from centre but very nice and staff were great. comp drink at the bar too! car park was very good and underground. Bologna was beautiful.. would definitely visit for longer next time.

When I booked I liked the reviews about cleanliness and comfort -and it was ! We slept really well and the beds were very comfortable. I liked the look of the roof terrace as I thought Bologna would be hot - which it was . However we didn’t seem to be able to get served up there .Though we did carry a coffee up after breakfast and it was quite nice to be able to sit up there it wasn’t quite what I thought . The breakfast had a good range of food choices . I needed a twin room as I was with my son and sadly none of the ‘upgraded’ rooms or rooms on higher floors with better views had twin beds . It was walkable into the centre - though quite a long walk - which wasn’t bad as we clocked up our steps !! A bit far from the train station so we had to take taxis when we did day trips . I think I will probably stay a little closer in next time - but it was a good hotel .

Look nowhere else - this is THE hotel in Bologna

5*+ rating for this special hotel in Bologna. For my first trip to Italy, my stay at this hotel made the entire experience that much more special. From the moment I checked in, to when I checked out the entire concierge team were welcoming, friendly and gave great tips on what to do and where to go. I was very surprised to have received a room upgrade - west facing, simply the comfiest hotel bed I have ever slept in and, a gorgeous bathroom with decent water pressure. If I had an extra day to my trip, I would have spent it in the hotel really taking advantage of the bar, lounge and restaurant. Or, just sleeping in - the bed was that comfortable. When I return to Bologna, I will only stay at Savhotel Aemilia.
