Wonderful, old-Florida feel with modern touches. Jay is a wonderful host, the place was exactly as described, clean as a whistle, comfortable, everything worked, quiet, relaxing, I can't find enough superlatives to describe how much we enjoyed the VRBO.If you're a gardener, you;re going to absolutely LOVE what Jay has done with his 4 acres.If you like fresh seafood, you MUST drive 15 minutes down the main road to Island Crab Seafood (St. James City, not the processing facility in Pine Island Center). The prices are superb, and if you like Jumbo Lump crab, you will NEVER find any fresher than here. The crab is caught local, steamed/shelled/cleaned in Pine Island Center, and sold in St James City.We will be making a return trip!

It was a perfect place for us to stay. My husband and I had not been to Pine Island since Covid. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We took our fishing boat so the host made sure we had a place to leave it when we were not using it. Couldn't have been happier any other place on the island.....a 10 for sure!!! We loved learning about his tropical farm as well.

Great place to stay. Secluded, lots of Florida foliage. Palms, mangroves...it was a permaculture farm. Real quiet. Place was clean had a full kitchen and bath. Would like to have had more water pressure, but the water was hot and the bed was comfortable. The pool was exquisite, had a hard time getting the hot tub up to temperature on the cooler nights, but all in all, I enjoyed the place and the surroundings. The owner was accommodating and pleasant. Couldn't have asked for more!

Cute Little Place, Beautiful Landscape

A great little place off the beaten path. Perfect for two people. Pool and hot tub, has a remote to warm them up in the cooler months. Queen air mattress available for two kids, but not a ton of room to set it up. I loved the bath towels, they were huge. Screen room with chairs and sun shade by the pool was nice. Beautiful landscaping out front. Especially the arches over the sidewalks.

Beautiful stay

What a wonderful hidden gem this place is. Our own pool and hot tub and a beautiful apartment with everything just perfect.. decorated so nicely and very comfortable. We sat in the hot tub and tried to count the stars. We would definitely think about coming back again. Thank you, Jay for sharing your beautiful spot with us.

The location was great, being tucked away from the main road and surrounded by vegetation. Great private pool and hot tub. The owner is a kind gentleman who lives upstairs and kept to himself except to say hi. No frills, but everything you need!
