There are long sandy beaches, rocky coves, renowned watersport locations, golf, horse riding and trout fishing within 2 miles of the house. A farm park, sea zoo, National Trust mansion and gardens and Coastal Heritage Centre are all close by. Beaumaris with its 13th century castle, old jail, pubs, restaurants, leisure centre, boat and fishing trips is 14 miles. Day trips to Ireland, Caernarfon Castle, Snowdonia National Park, Betws-y-Coed, Llandudno and Bodnant Gardens. Shop 1 mile, pub 0.5 miles, restaurant 2.5 miles.
