Great place to stay. Good access to major scenic towns and hiking in the Picos de Europas. Was little disappointed they didn't have air conditioning running in November so we could keep room really cold for my wife, however they brought us a fan and that worked well. Great food and service. Breakfast was delicious and the lasagna dinner was memorable. Beds could use some upgrading as they were a bit stiff. Again service is top notch and everyone is so helpful. Would recommend staying here and enjoying the history of the property and the nearby town of Cangas de Onis as well.

This property was a monastery. It’s renovated. You can see the details of the building, the manager explained the history of the buildings. That staff are very nice and go beyond to help you in everything. They have great choice for eating, the patio is a wonderful place to have a cup of wine, read, chat or the like. We had a wonderful stay in the Parador. The staff were excellent - they provided us with very good advice on local cycle rides and had a number of maps and trail guides to follow. The restaurant is also excellent - we chose from the set menus and found all of the food to be high quality in a lovely atmosphere. We would stay again without hesitation.

What a fab place to stay, the hotel was amazing from the history of it and the special areas to sit and enjoy the views. The staff were so friendly and ready to help always. The food was varied and local to the area , wine excellent also ! Would definately return and advise people to stay. We walked into the town along the river, a must see visit
