It was ok as a hotel to spend only nighttime. Bathroom was moldy, no ventilation. Loud restaurant right cross the driveway played music until midnight. AC didnt work from the start, but owner moved us into a larger room, also on other side of hotel so away from music, which was good. Very short walk to beach but no amenities provided (loungers), its not a resort. Staff was polite. Breakfast included homemade cakes, very tasty!

Terrible experience

Arrived late at 12:30 am because the ferry was 2 1/2 hrs late. The guy at the reception greated us without a shirt and didn’t say one word, not even hello. He just handed us a key and didn’t even check my reservation. We had to go outside to get water and came back to find there was no hot water. We took cold showers. In the morning we went to breakfast and nobody greeted us or provided cups or silverware, we had to ask for them. We decided not to stay another night and at checkout they then charged me an additional $25. They said my reservation was only for one person but I reserved a double room. Beware of this hotel!!

Very helpful and friendly staff! Nice views from the rooftop terrace. Close to beach. Comfortable rooms. Great to have a jacuzzi on the rooftop, but the jets need to be repaired.

A lovely quaint hotel, it supplies the basics you need, cleaned every day throughout the hotel, the staff are very helpful and friendly, my advise for lunch, is the nearby restaurants close at 2:30pm and open again at 6:00pm so we got stuck for food on our first day and we ended up going to a little supermarket only able to get cake as there was no bread!! Later found out the few restaurants down on the beach ( 10mins walk) close at 4pm.

Modern hotel in good location

The hotel is a nice location, on the beach and on the edge of town. Lots of nice restaurants close-by. The hotel has a pretty rooftop bar. The room was spacious with nice views on the balcony. Breakfast was a buffet of sweet pastries, continental bits and cooked eggs. Walk down the beach for a variety of beach clubs and water-sports.

Beliggenhed i Sal Rei er god. Vores familie vÊrelse havde en fin stÞrrelse. Tagterrassen er et kÊmpe plus for hotellet. Et kÊmpe minus var dog, at der pÄ intet tidspunkt i lÞbet af vores 7 dages ophold var varmt vand til brusebad. Et koldt bad kan gÄ an i ny og nÊ, men en hel uge uden varmt vand er simpelthen ikke okay.

Si l’hĂŽtel est bien situĂ© les chambres du RdC sont trĂšs bruyantes, ascenseur, allers venues des rĂ©sidents et du personnel. Il manquait des serviettes dans la chambre le tuyau du pommeau de douche est dĂ©nudĂ©, pas de poignĂ©es intĂ©rieures pour fermer, 1 lampe de chevet sur 2 fonctionne, le canapĂ©-lit est cassĂ©, sinon le personnel est d’une gentillesse sans pareil.

Le petit dĂ©jeuner est vraiment mauvais, de mauvais produits mal cuisinĂ©s, ce qui est quand mĂȘme une exception de mon expĂ©rience au Cap Vert. La « salle de sport », littĂ©ralement 3 machines complĂštement Ă  l’abandon, rouillĂ©es et donc inutilisables, Ă  l’image de la terrasse qui n’a rien Ă  voir avec les photos (transats plein de moisissures, palissades sales
). Lors de mon sĂ©jour je n’ai pas rencontrĂ© une seule personne du personnel parlant un mot d’anglais, ce qui ne les empĂȘche pas d’ĂȘtre trĂšs sympathique
 mis Ă  part le vigile de nuit qui dort affalĂ© sur la canapĂ© de la rĂ©ception pendant son service et lance des regards trĂšs noirs accompagnĂ©s de silences pesants quand on ose le rĂ©veiller pour rentrer. Bref, je ne recommande pas.
