Although the room was quaint and lended itself to the weekend in the mountains vibe, the smell of odorban cleaner was so strong it burned our lungs and triggered an asthma attack! We were unable to stay even after propping open the window and running the AC.

The bed was terribly hard. We probably would have stayed another night if the bed would have been more comfortable.They could use some upgrades but, the friendly staff can make up for that.

I liked how cozy it felt. It’s a basic hotel that has the necessities. The bed was cozy. The bathrooms were iffy but okay. The room smelt musty when I first entered but once the air was on it was better. When checking out, I didn’t know what to do since there was nobody at the front desk and I waited two hours till I finally had to go and just left my key up front hoping for the best. Overall the hotel was good and I’d come back.

We did not partake of the breakfast. The AC was not on in the room so it was very stuffy and did not snell fresh. Even with the air on, we had to open the windows to air out the room. We called twice to confirm our arrival to be after 8. We arrived at 8:10 and the desk was empty. We rang the bell with no response. We called the hotel and a man answered and came up to check us in. Just was a bit offputting.

The bathroom shower curtain had mold on top and bottom (needs to be replaced), around the bar in shower which needs to be scrubbed, the top of wood trim had black mold, and faucet handle fell off. This was room 111.

The owner was very rude. Several items in the room were broke. No dresser in room, toilet seat broke, lamps broke, fridge not working properly, no microwave, no elevator, no scoop for ice machine. If you reserve a room, make sure you want to stay here. Owner will not refund any days even if it was just reserved and not a deposit. The hotel needs lots of work. Not taken care of. Avoid this hotel. Definitely not a lodge.

I just about didn't book here based off of other reviews, but I'm happy that I did. This motel is dated, but it is very clean, and you can tell that the owners and staff take pride in this establishment. The bed is plain, no pillow top, or fancy covers; but it is comfortable. If you prioritize all things high end, this is not the place for you. If you value cleanlines

The decor and ambiance was charming. Everything was clean and the staff were welcoming and friendly. This is on the way to being great, but some things are a bit off. Ex. Lightbulb in floor lamp leaning over, not noticeable until you turn light on or off, but then you can feel it isn’t properly upright.

Our room had bug traps placed throughout, there was no AC upon entering our room and it was hot! We had to turn it on but couldn’t adjust the temperature. The location was close to many other things around town.
