This lovely cabin is a haven in the woods. Enjoy the charming forest views from the private hot tub or while grilling on the gas grill. After a long day of adventuring, guests can kick back next to the gas fireplace or roast marshmallows in the firepit. For some friendly competition, play a game of pool or air hockey together.

This home is on the Benton MacKaye Trail, a moderate 50-mile hiking trail that includes the Toccoa River Swinging Bridge. Cowgirl Up Stables is based just over six miles away, offering up horseback riding fun with beginners in mind. The Expedition: Bigfoot! Sasquatch Museum offers an unconventional museum experience just two-and-a-half miles away.

Hot tub took 24 hours to heat from 80 to 102, not very discreet as it is wide open to the street. Perhaps some lattice? The lake was fine, though i was hoping to fish a little and there signs all over saying no fishing

Lovely getaway cabin

The cabin is exactly as pictured. Extremely cozy. Loved the hot tub. The location was very central to the little towns we wanted to visit. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. However, we did run into issues with the grill and the hot. The customer service was great at communicating with me. I don't know if we would stay here again, but I would recommend it to other families.

Cute Cabin

Bedding was beyond uncomfortable. Washer machine leaked very bad. Zero service. Was on a retention pond and a lake. Game room was disappointing….no darts…pool with 2 pool sticks and only could use one stick. Cabin was cute. No hangers…k have stayed at better places for cheaper. The leaking washer machine was such a nightmare.

Tranquil retreat back to nature.

Had such a great time at this cabin. Saw quite a few deer. It did rain most of our trip but still really enjoyed ourselves. The one day it didn't rain got to enjoy Morganton Point. All the sounds of nature made it so easy to sleep at night. The hot tub was at a perfect temperature. The Cherry Log Mountain was amazing.

Nice cabin needs TLC

We arrived to the cabin at check in with garbage torn up everywhere outside. I contacted the front office to be told they would get it tomorrow as to when I really was upset because it spelt so bad and the worse part was there was bee’s that I am allergic to everywhere they had taken over the whole cabin even my car.i had to video it and send it to them before anything would be done and then they sent someone and hour and a half later to pick it up and left a can of spray that was empty sitting on the rail outside. That was just a small portion of the problems the steps going up into the cabin are rotten and the railing as well someone is going to end up hurt really bad and then what. The bathroom smells of old urine floors were so dirty couldn’t go without shoes. We had friends in another cabin 5 minutes away and it was perfect. They even received calls all along checking to see if everything was good if they needed anything. Definitely won’t be with the ones we were ever again even if there is nowhere else to stay.

Be prepared to spend a lot of time on the phone…

Our hopes were high as we booked this vacation. The pictures were beautiful; the reality - not so much. There was no “lake view” as claimed - more like an oversized puddle that had a short walk through the brush to get there. The deck was rotten with missing boards, and someone had dumped a large amount of trash there by that deck. Garbage bags full of plates and cans were torn up and scattered- we notified the manager of this upon arrival. Then came the race inside trying to avoid the swarm of yellow jackets that had a convenient nest right outside the door. We notified the manager about that as well. In fact, we spoke with the maintenance man so much that we are considering inviting this person to have Thanksgiving with us - he started to feel like one of the family. The inside of the cabin was nice - those pictures were accurate. What you can not tell, however, is how god-awful uncomfortable the furniture is. You cannot sit on the couch without sinking into it, and the same is with the beds - there are large canyons that you will roll into. The chairs at the dining room bar are wobbly and missing screws. The TV in the master bedroom only received 3 channels - not sure what was up with that. It didn’t really matter since the size of the screen is about the same as a computer monitor. I forgot they made tv screens that small. The showers were fine - great water pressure. There is a hot tub - but that did not work - that was our 3rd phone call in order to get that repaired. This did get fixed when we called them about it. There is a pool table - the is only one pool cue - the rest don’t have tips. The yellow jackets returned and our last day was spent on the phone with management while trying to rid the cabin of them and then trying to leave without getting stung or letting more into the house. We located the Yellow jacket nest behind the door frame. Mystery solved! Overall, I would say that this is nice place to stay at if you don’t mind dealing with a series of inconveniences. I will also say that management was very responsive in dealing with these problems (except for the trash - that never got cleaned up). But, these are not problems that should be occurring - things should be in working order.

Cherry Log

I would highly recommend staying at Cherry Log Mountain! It has all of the amenities of a standard cabin, hot tub, grill, gameroom, full kitchen, but the best part is you can bring up to 4 dogs! No size or breed restrictions! Just outside Blue Ridge, GA. Less than 1-1/2 hours from Cleveland, TN.

Indian Rock needs new Furniture and Beds

The cabin was easy to check into and it was very nice and clean. The location of the property was great and somewhat secluded. The only thing that was not great was the couch was totally worn out with no cushioning and the beds were the same. We had trouble sleeping because we kept rolling to the middle of the bed. The stairways outside the cabin were a little worrisome due to being infested with termites for they were a little wobbly. Other than those issues it was great 👍!!
