"Awesome for families with kids of all ages!"
Cabins have character and are well equipped and clean. staff very approachable and friendly. There is a huge common room out the back of the property with pool table, game consoles, a huge VHS and DVD collection, juke box, another kitchen, fridges and toilet/shower which is ideal if you are travelling in a larger group. The kids absolutely loved the birds on the property- cockatoos, king parrots and lorikeets aplenty and the parrots can be hand fed! Would definitely stay there again.

Cabin had all amenities required for a short term stay. However, only had a sofa for three when cabin sleeps five. Other than that, it was fine.

Very nice. Kids love feeding animals. We all enjoy the hot spa under the stars. We feel like we are visiting friends instead of staying in a hotel.

"Good Accommodation in Leura"
Stay here usually once a year. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Bathroom in our room had been recently renovated. Very efficient check-in and check-out. Full buffet breakfast included in the price reasonable value. Fewer pastries on offer than had been in previous year. Its good and reliable, but not cheap due mainly to a lack of competition from similar hotel/motel style accommodation in the area.

"Blue mountains "
We arrived very late Friday for booked massages at the end of the day. The spa staff were flexible about the time and both of us had great treatments with professional therapists. Our hotel experience was lovely. Really comfortable and spacious valley view room We watched the sun set on top of low cloud. This was gorgeous. Darleys a hatted restaurant next door was very good for a special meal with great wine. The house lounge has very good meals and service too. We loved our stay and would recommend Lilianfels.

"Delightful cottages far from everything."
Beautiful bush surrounds and all the little extras thought of. Lovely deck and outdoor setting to soak in bush. Friendly dog for an extra friend for the children. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have an Aussie bush experience far from the crowds of Sydney but only a stone's throw away.

"Great place for a family weekend"
We had stayed here a few years ago in one of the spa cabins, and vowed to come back at some point. This time around, our family was bigger and so we stayed in one of the refurbished train carriages. The novelty factor for our kids was definitely the highlight, besides sleeping in a double decker bus bed! The room was clean and comfortable and well-equiped. The animal feeding hour at 3pm is also a highlight and the staff were all fantastic in accommodating us and hosting us around the farm. The full breakfast hamper provided doesn't disappoint either, and feeds a crowd! If I were to be picky, the only faults I could find is that the shower was very leaky and flooded the bathroom floor, and a lack of curtains for the kitchen/kids play part of the carriage left us feeling a bit like people were watching us at nighttime. Other than that, we loved it and are hoping to return again at some point!

"Lovely country stay"
Whilst I did enjoy this stat overall, it was a little disjointed in my opinion. I collected the key and we made our way to the room which was very basic but comfortable. I actually thought the owner was onsite and cooked out breakfasts, this was not the case. Whilst I don't mind cooking my own breakfast etc, I was told by other inhouse guests to ensure that I cleaned up thoroughly before we left so as not to get charged a cleaning fee. Whilst I respect that I would not leave a mess, I also think that by paying a fairly nightly rate that I could atleast get my dishes put away on checkout day as well as wipe up any crumbs that were left. Along with the other inhouse guests we overhauled the kitchen to ensure we kept it clean but I do think that on checkout day when the cleaners come in surely they would do this anyway for the next guests. My kids loved the animals, I did feel that there should be more hands on with the animals being a farm stay, that said Toby the dog is always after a cuddle. He is beautiful.. It definitely is a lovely place to stay for a complete getaway
