The hotel is very conveniently located and nicely decorated in Bo-Ho style. Daniel was very helpful in accommodating my husband’s back issues by changing our room to the 1st floor.. This quaint hotel right on the water was a perfect destination for our anniversary trip. While the staff was just getting up to speed as the season was beginning, they still went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Don't expect a huge room, but that is part of the charm.

BIBH was amazing for our first visit to Block Island! We stayed in the Gables and had a beautiful king suite. Unfortunately the pool was not ready for use, we would have enjoyed using that. The private beach area was really nice, shoutout to the beach staff that quickly set up complimentary loungers and an umbrella for my pregnant wife and I. Good food and drinks on the beach deck as well. We would definitely stay again.

The birthday getaway at Block Island Beach House was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, the entire experience felt relaxing, fun, and exactly what we needed for a weekend escape. The location could not have been better — easy walk from the ferry, beautiful ocean views, and close to everything on the island. We loved spending time by the beach, biking around the island, and ending the nights with drinks by the water. The hotel itself had such a fun coastal vibe while still feeling comfortable and welcoming. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and everything was clean, stylish, and well maintained. This trip made my husband's birthday so special, and we already cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for the perfect Block Island getaway!

When we checked in, we were told our room was down the street. I must’ve missed that when I made the reservation. I did not realize there were multiple buildings. It was fine though, everything was good in my opinion, not outstanding. Beachy. A little dated. Clean room, modern bathroom. That’s what’s important. Convenient walk to beaches, dining, shopping. We went early in the season so it was a little chilly. The pool I don’t think was open yet. I would stay again.

Untrained staff, yes it’s an old hotel but be wary and don’t talk loud in the hallways. The hotel boasts a bar, but there was an event.. so no one else could get a drink? That doesn’t seem like it would be hard to manage. They bombard you with upgrade offers before you go.. staff isn’t friendly. The hotel is curated well as far as bohemian surf vibe, very clean.. but the senior level staff must know they have you by the b@lls when on Block Island.
