The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly! There is a restaurant 1 minute down the road, which was great. My only recommendation is maybe to add cups to the room so that guests may drink water from the two if they are thirsty. We even saw the northern lights from our room. Overall a great stay.

Perfect location between Pingvellir National Park and Skokkur Geyser and Golfoss Waterfalls. Very nice dinner at the hotel restaurant and wonderful pizza just down the road. Don’t miss the Fontana Thermal Hot Springs! We were there the last day before closing for remodeling so we would love to return after reopening.

Our stay was very nice. I’m was a little noisy because we opened a window and other guests were standing outside at times. The breakfast was delightful and the homemade bread was such a treat with the lovely jam and marmalade.

The tiniest of rooms was still lovely with a nice big window, great view and super clean. The bathroom really is too tiny but spotless. You only get one "body gel" for body, hair and conditioning...take own toiletries if you need anything more than soap. Service was truly exceptional. As for food, lamb soup was definitely not the thing to have if you are going east.

Our room was clean and comfortable with all of the necessities. Breakfast was not included and we did not purchase it since it began too late for our departure. The thing we didn't like was the lack of a hot shower. Water was cool.
