Quaint property but not disabled friendly
We were looking for a disabled friendly property in that area and came across this property. The bedroom on the upper level is a bit cramped and there is no shower on the bathroom on the top level. While this was communicated to us by the owner, I missed read the email communication, so the error was mine.
The property previously operated as tea rooms/ cafe and hence has a commercial kitchen, lots of appliances and entertainment- board games, toys, even kid guitars and a piano! The lack of phone connectivity ( only Telstra services are available) was actually refreshing.
It was great for kids and there’s plenty of space so it’s good for big groups, and you can still have somewhere to retreat to for some “me” time. The bathrooms are a bit small, but the whole place has a lot of character and it grew on us. There were Kangaroos in the backyard at night!
